Will this water park will be as big as the other water parks? In your opinion.

Have you looked across the expressway, it looks like they could build it there. Something is being built there. Maybe they bought back that land.

Yes Yes we all are excited for the water park but what im not excited are the prices. In the press release it said the stock market went down for Six Flags theme parks 11% in one day which is REAL bad and plus that they spent over 4 million dollars to Six Flags Parks and did not get the results from what they wanted, and still build another water park for SFGAm! Damn Im sorry but Six Flags is throwing money likes its paper and for it to build this water park will raise prices for season passes, food and souveniors.

He was talking about that.

And secondly, you are wrong. While it MAY raise prices for tickets/season passes (depending if they are included or not) that doesn't mean everything in the park will go up in price. in my opinion everything will stay the same.

rct2wizard360 was talking to playerplex, not you. Don't get overly aggressive a over little thing like that. It's not worth it.

Im almost 100% sure that you will get into the waterpark with a seasons pass, or a day pass, because they are building this for more money to boost their economy, and to attract more guests. I think it will be by bull. But were else would a ride fit, unless they got a parking garage?

Also do you think that they will close down viper because the lifegaurds cant hear people drowning?

They spent at least 6 million dollars at SfGam alone so I don't know where you got 4 million. Also, Six flags was pleased with what the new rides at SfGam, Sfog, and Sfft gave to the company. It's just that the overall chain hasn't been consistent this year. They are very optimistic about the future and the waterpark makes me very happy. Not because it will be a missing link to the park, but it will help in capacity.

Tell me now, who actually expected the park to get a major expansion next year? I knew they needed a waterpark, but I didn't think it would come so quick. I am still surprised at what I heard on the call conference. Six Flags officials say that this will be a MAJOR park. Expect good things for the park next year and for years ahead. (Six flags says that they will spend in the 90-100 million dollar range for the next 3-5 years.)

That is not much of a surprised. I new they were going to spend money of something big for 2005. And this it what it is. A water park, which Tim Black did say last year that they are looking into it.

Yeah, I remember hearing about that from No Coaster Con. I just didn't expect to hear it during the conference call.

Also, I'm sure attendance will go up next year. My sisters and mom already said that they will be spending valueable time at the waterpark. They like the idea of having one of those at the park.

Ok thats even more wrose spending more money. 6 MILLION! Plus I know Im right maybe not the souveniors but the tickets and season passes trust me...I would tell you why but that will make me seem braging. All I no is that like everybody I talk to says it will happenand.

And I did kind of expect that the park was going to get a water park. There was rumors on getting it since 2000. I just didnt think it will happen that fast. Damn I got to learn how to swim. :P

O yea to the person that said I need to chill out lol I cant help it temper issues but we all dont know what would happen with the prices we will just wait to see next year....but its so obvious that they are going to raise them.

" We expect to invest $90,000,000 in our existing parks, and to build a new waterpark next to our existing Chicago park."

Ok this quote posted by Dejavu the ride is correct.

Also I heard that there plans and the plan for our waterpark will be announced this coming Fall. :D Here is the quote:
We will announce our specific plans in the fall in addition to the new waterpark in chicago.

So it is confirmed that we will get a waterpark in 2005. :D

Now as for the 2005 coaster rumors, he hasn't said really anything to back it up. He did say that in 2005 a number of parks would recive marketable attractions including a big addtion to SF's largest park in New Jersey. So it looks like New Jersey is the only SF park right now to get a big coaster.
I'll edit my post with more as I hear it.
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/

Will there be a chance of us getting a water park and maybe like a roller coaster not even a roller coaster like a ride? O yea and I think they are going to make it across the street but like are they going to build a bridge to get there or what? You know they can tear down AE to build the water park.

The land across the street is going to be a BUISNESS PARK! Listen to me on this one. The water park will be built on the side of the highway that sfgam is on.

A Business Park is a place where a bunch of businesses go and build their office buildings. The land across the highway was sold a long time ago. Therefore, no waterpark across the highway. Like RCT2Wizard said it will be built on SFGAm's side of the highway. There we go that has been taken care of now. So we can all move on now. Thanks :D lmao.
