Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.
Postby HiSpAnOwAy on August 6th, 2004, 12:11 am
In anybodies opinion which is the best SF park? I never gone to anyone except the best one in the world SFGAm but I hear SFMM is fun but like from the dark side bad I think SFGAm starts it all because we had batman we had shockwave turned to viper we had Ragin bull turned to Goliath so what do you think theming and in all.

It should be under General Coasters.
My favorite SF park is Gam, then it would be WoA(even though it is isnt SF any more), then Stl.

WoA (Geauga Lake, formerly Six Flags Worlds of Adventure) in my opinion, I thought the park was average, its definantly one of my top 5 parks.

The only six flags parks that I have been to are Great America and St. Louis. Great America is in my opinion much better than St. Louis.

#1 SFGAm
For the other ones I've been to:

#2 <<tied<< SFStL (needs more coasters, I like Mr. Freeze, Screamin' Eagle, Mine Train, and BTR), and SFOG (needs an impulse and more flats, Flats such as tea cups, a Tilt A Whirl or Fiddler's Fling, an Octopus, a Triple Play, and another upside down flat besides their Orbit.)

Last SF Park (in my opinion, it's better than Universal Studios even though my last SF park I've been to.): SFKK (needs better coasters, Chang, kiddie mouse, and two woodies are good.)

Madrid, looks more like a Disney park with big coasters than a SF park.

WoF would be Worlds of Fun which is a Cedar Fair park, but I think you meant WoA which use to be Six Flags but it is now Geauga Lake(Cedar Fair.) :)

Just thought i'd point it out this is in the wrong forum. It should be in the general coasters or whatever forum. I think GAm is the best Six flags park i've been to. But i really like Fiesta Texas. It's not the best but the coasters/rides it does have are really good. and the theaming is really great. But GAm Rocks.

I like great america, but I like gadv better allmost. When I'm at great adventure I enjoy it more. Tough to explain, but our parks enterance is nowhere near as nice as theres. I also like how your deap in a forest the whole time. At gam you can either allways see the maintenece sheds and backstage area or you allways see the parking lot. And at great america, the landscapings pretty horrible. I think if we redid our enterance plaza (which is badly needed because our entry gates are ugly as sin) and got a clone of their enterence midway that leads up to the carosuel and put a big wall of dirt and trees around the park to hide it from the parking lot, and then redid the parking gates we would be good.

Whats wrong with the entrance? Its a classic? I mean yeah it is falling apart just repaint it and like in stead of the annex use the old ticket stands next to the kennal. Also yea the garages and everything in the backlot you can see like on the rides just like make it nicer like tress flowers to go along with it. The maintence int all that bad its nice. I dont like the signs to see if they are open or not on the entrance gates for tickets, they should keep the old ones. By the way next to the season pass line there is like this ticket booth but it closed....does anybody know what that was before?

GAm is the only SF park I've been to, so I don't really have a "favorite" yet.

Has anyone here been to SFOT? I hear that is an excellent SF park and my friend that has been to them all says it is his favorite. I can guarentee you that SFDL and SFA are towards the bottom of the list.

Yea, really. Unless you flew to Madrid recently. I've only been to SFStL and obviously its not as good as SFGAm.

Does anyone else think that this topic just isn't fair to any other Six Flags parks? I mean, come on, this is a Six Flags Great America Forum. What park do you think everyone is going to think is the best?
