Changing subject..Has anyone else noticed how many ride ops are asking "How was your day?" or "are you having fun?" and questions like that? It seemed that on every ride I heard ride ops talking to the guests in some way. Big improvement from last year. When I went on Dare Devil Dive, I actually had a nice long conversation with the ride op about the park and the ride. It made my visit a lot more enjoyable.

Did the op give any good tips or facts that would be good to share with us?

Ride OPS are nicer because on this website it said that theme parks are making workers be nicer because nicer workers make have guests more fun. But also there was this one girls she was like pale frikels she got an attitude with these people and also these security gaurds did kind of get an attitude with my sisters boyfreind for having a conversation with them. But yea the workers did get nicer because when I entered the park they wer like "Welcome To SFGAm! We hope you enjoy your day."

I have to say something, the park's attendence has been down, that is what everyone is saying. You should go this weekend, it will be horrid. Back to topic: Thursday, I went to the park, 3:00 arrival, I parked in the back of the overflow lot, everything was open except KC and everything was at full capacity with full switchbacks plus outside the queue. BTR was using its second entrance, and Cajun had a new sign out for the day, it said the wait was 2 hours from this point, when it was only 75 mins. I only got on 11 rides, I left at 9:00, no one was leaving.

Whoever said the parks attendance is down does not know what they are talking about because every time I go to the park they use the second lot. Except for like once I think its a rumor SFGAm either started or somebody did so that they can get more people to come since they will think it will be empty.

I would say that chances are attendance is down, remember, every summer the lot will be packed, what matters is early spring.

Sometimes the park is like "night and day" in the summer on my trips. May was awesome. It was really not crowded, mostly every Sunday in May . The trouble started for me on Father's Day. It was nuts. The C.A.D. 1 day (Wed) was good, but that Sunday following it was nuts again. For July Fridays, two were quite packed and one was quite empty. Part of the biggest reason for the recent climb is because of that kid's program and summer is flying goodbye. I'll try a Monday and see how that works out.

July and August: go to the park expecting it to be crowded. It's that simple.

HiSpAnOwAy:

You are walking on thin ice my friend. With your horrid spelling, grammar, and getting an attitude with other people on these forums is not working in your favor.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Your an idiot, a chat is a heck of a lot different than a forum. Not being perfect in a chat isnt going to make this site look bad.

If you want to be picky...

The reason the park was packed was because of the 6 hour reading club. Everyone with those doesnt go until the last week or two. They expire tomorow sunday the 8th. Im going tuesday the 10th, andcoaster after dark is on the 11th i think, so i think the park wont be that packed.
