It is also hard to do a load without stopping unless there is a moving platform that is long enough to allow for it. (i.e. Haunted Mansion)

If we can't have 2 cars on the lift at a time, then I agree that it would be a waste to have 9 cars.

Wow, we've lowered ourselves to the point of having to grade ride ops? What happened to the simple pleasures of going to Great America.

I will put my two cents in, I think that all the ride ops in the park are excellent. There is rarely any stacking on any ride, except when there are exit passers and stupid people. They keep the ride moving, they have fun doing their jobs, and most interact with the guests. I think that they should have all the rides with manuel spiels because the ride ops can be original while saying the necessities. Anyways, all the ride-ops are the best in the park, not one group can stick out from another, they all do job sufficiently.

Speaking of spiels, Alfred's back. I've haven't heard him on BTR for awhile until now. The main rollercoaster where they actually say something "manually" is the Whizzer besides D Vu harness and V2 watch your step. The big reason why this could be is because of the restraints (seatbelts). They want to get the point out to remain seated. So, yes, on that ride they should continue to do that.

That same spiels always been there.
You need to start paying attention more instead of saying "they changed this, turned this off, blah blah blah" cause it's still the same.

In my opinion I think that Raging Bull has the best ride ops. Everytime Im there the line moves very nicely and they get people on and off very quickly.

Raging Bull has to be pretty easy though to work. You don't have to bend down to check restraints, there's no seatbelts, the seats hold relatively larger people and you have a pretty good interval. Where as Batman has seatbelts, seats that don't hold relatively large people and you have a very small interval.(The gates pretty much open as the train crests the lift hill.)

One incident I've seen - on American Eagle Red, a girl who wasn't even that close to the minimum height wanted to ride with her father. Her mother was waiting by the exit. They took her off the ride to measure her, then brought her to her mother. Her mother insisted that her daughter ride. When the operators told her she wasn't tall enough and they don't make the rules, the mother argued that both she and her husband gave permission for the daughter to ride. The blue operator stepped in to help. They ended up sending two blue trains through before red finally departed. When the red train waiting by the station came back in, they were clapping. (They thought it had broken down.)

Two problems - first, the ride was held up for a significant amount of time. Secondly, and more importantly, the blue operator was not paying attention to the train as it departed. Now, that would be the operator's fault, not the mother's fault, but it wouldn't have happened if the parents had just not argued with the operators in the first place.

Sorry (wow, that's the third time I've said "sorry" today, I must be feeling apologetic), just my two cents.

Thats probably the most aggrivating, annoying thing i've ever seen (and I don't even work there and it's annoying)....the fact that you have to wait a lot longer because 1 person is not coopertive, um, sucks.

Two problems - first, the ride was held up for a significant amount of time.

If they cannot get someone under control, it's time to get a supervisor and possibly security....theres no reason to significantly slow down the cycle time because someone is deciding to be unsafe.

the mother argued that both she and her husband gave permission for the daughter to ride

That's just flat out being stupid.......i'm making my daughter ride when she doesn't fit the requirements lets see what happenns!
