I went to coasterforce.com today and I was reading all of the accidents from like 1980 to July, 2004. I was surprised to see how many accidents Disneyland had. It also says that hudreds of serious injurys have occured at the California park alone, with many more at the Orlando site. "The prime culprit of the accidents has been the turbulent computer-controlled dark ride, Indiana Jones, at Disneyland. Hundreds of minor and major incidents have been reported on that ride, some suffering major brain conditions such as bleeding at the brain stem." The first time I ever rode that ride, it broke down during the middle of the ride and all the riders had to walk in the dark with only emergency lights on. It was pretty scary, since I was only like 10. What do you guys think?
What were some of the accidents at the Orlando site? The problem is that many kids are kids who go to Disney parks. Hopefully, you know what I mean.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
I remember when I was in 3rd grade we were on the Thunder Mountain Railroad right before a big storm was supposted to hit. We were going through the tunnel and while half the train was at the lift hill (we were still in the tunnel) everything stopped, the E-Lights came on in the tunnel. We were greeted by an employee who told us the power went out in the entire park. He escorted us out of the tunnel to the exits.
After that we were attempting to get back to our resort and the monorail was down (no power) so everybody was heading for the Ferry. We eventually got back and yeah, it was a good story right?

There is this one site that I found, that mentioned any minor incidents at parks for the last 20 years. It looked that only some parks reported incidents, but SfGadv seemed to have one for everyday and every age. It also mentioned a few Gam incidents which included a harness popping up and hitting a person in the face at Iron Wolf.
Disney's parks are open longer and entertain more people than any other parks in the world, so you would figure that because of that fact alone they are prone to more accidents. And Indiana Jones is a great ride that the park toned down after the complaints even though it was not that violent to begin with... They better not remove it. It could be the greatest ride ever.
