SFGAM Today 8/3/04

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby sfgamer2 on August 3rd, 2004, 2:12 pm
Today I went to great america. It was awesome in the beginning of my day! I got there at 9:30 and started out by going on ragin' cajun for my first time and also made it so now I've been on every coaster there. Then I went on IMS just for a refreshing splash it was a near walk on. After that I went on Batman and for the first time for me it was a walk on. Next I went to Whirligig just to dry off a bit next I went to the walk on V2 in the very back seat, it was so cool. After that I went on Spacely's just for the heck of it. After Spacely's, I went on the first load for the Vu and I was in the very very back seat it was extremely cool.(I think I met HiSpAnOwAy in line for it. post here if you were there today) Next up I took a little walk through SWT and rode Ricochet. I took a healthy walk over to claim jumpers in yukon territory.(and I swear to god I saw papas walk by as I got up from the table). Like spacely's I went on Stargate for the heck of it. Finally I took a walk over to Raging Bull to finish up my day at sfgam.

It was the most fun I had all year at sfgam. And to papas and hispanoway tell me I am not crazy and say that you were there today.

Vu and I was in the very very back seat it was extremely cool.

Bleh car 1 is the real only good seat on Vu, I don't like bouncing around.

Were you there today because I heard you are papas.
You see I like the cubs and the white sox. If it came down to the world series I'd pick the cubs.

No I didn't say Hi I just saw you behind claim jumpers in yukon territory. If you don't know what I mean, I talking about the food stall that if you stand right behind it you can see a perfect view of V2. I swear I saw you walk by as I was gettin' up from the table. If you remember correctly there were 2 tables with people on them I was at the one where there were only two people there and not under the wooden sun protector but under an umbrella.

I always take hidden paths in Yukon instead of the midway when I get a chance, sorry I don't recall people under an umbrella I wasn't really looking for it.

Yeah I noticed that you weren't looking my way sorry I was too scared not to say hello. But why do you take secret paths through yukon?

Was it really busy today? I know it's a stupid question, but it was hard to tell from your post.

Lets see, during the day, in Orleans I always go through the Bourban Street area to get across, in Yankee Harbor theres this little path next to B:TR's lift that I go through to the Yukon bridge, in Yukon I go behind the game thing "aka shadecut" and then hook around behind the midway to where V2's front tower is, and a bunch of other little paths that nobody ever uses.

It's really just ways I use to avoid bottlenecks during the day.

All the places Virtua Tennis mentioned as shortcuts are legitimate places to walk. I do those all the time to.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

One time during a thunderstorm all the undercover places were packed (resturaunts, bathrooms, shows, Stargate) so I just went to the shadecut and sat there and looked at my pics till the storm blew over :).

I never knew about those shortcuts. You mean to get from B:TR to Viper you don't have to run all the way around the park?

Yes you do, I was talking about little pathways that avoid the major attractions bottlenecks (aka Bourban St. Shortcut S:UF/ Harbor shortcut V2).
It just kind of goes past them but no one goes that way.

Back to my original question to you papas, did you or did you not go behind claim jumpers walking towards county fair?
