I did not see many line jumpers at all today. No one cut in front of me in line once, I maybe some one or two line jumpers but that was it. Usually I see a bunch. I was surprised.
I agree with Timmy. I really don't care too much when someone line jumps. Usually it's no more than 4 people, and (let's say the train on the ride we are waiting for carries 32 riders) that's a 1/8 chance of you having to wait a train longer. It doesn't make much of a difference people.
And another thing, when someone cuts in line to get to their parents, I say that's okay. Chances are they were kids that had to go to the bathroom. I mean i'm 15 and i still get urges sometimes that i cannot wait another 30 minutes for. I think some people just need to lighten up about the situation.

Anyways it would help a lot if the employees would actually do something about it instead of just standing there. Its unfortunate that this stuff has to happen in the first place, but as long as line jumpers can get away with it, its gonna keep happening.
If an employee obviosley sees some one line jump and doesnt do anything about it (although sometimes they call security without saying anything, so it has to be real obvious they didn't do anything). Take their name and look at the certified operator tag at the number then go to guest services with it. If they're not gonna do their job they shouldn't be there in the first place.
When someone line jumps me, i usually dont do anything, because there usually going to a group or family. I only give people smaller than me a hard time.
You guys are basically proving my point that the reason so many people line jump is because nobody seems to really care. If nobody really cares if people jump in front of them then why would they wanna stop doing it?
When someone line jumps, I say kudos to them for having the balls to do it. I know i'd never be able to because I'd be so worried that I'd get caught that I wouldn't even enjoy the ride. If they get caught, woo-hoo, maybe they won't do it anymore, but if they don't, it just comes down to the fact that they took a chance and it paid off for them.

It's so amazing that almost every single line jumper has a group or family to join.

There Are Signs Posted out side the ride and in the line for it saying "If you leave the Line for any reason You may not renter" this means you cant rejoin your party!
The sad part is that some people line jump without thinking that it is wrong. They think they can go to the bathroom or go and get food while the others wait. At least I have seen more of a security presence in line for Superman.
If they could arrest you for line jumping, they would make a nice big sign stating that. They can't fine you for line jumping. It's not illegal. It is only a park rule.
Why don't you just deal with it. They will do it anyway. Its not going to kill you if one or two people cut in line. If they get caught it is their problem.
I think they need to install more security cameras, like they have on Batman. The park has a security center, they could be run there. Have one person monitoring the lines at all times (extra $ but much better guest satisfaction). Then when they see someone jumping, they should give out a complete description (clothing, style, etc.) to the ride ops who are not to let him or her ride. If there is any dispute, they could show the jumper the tape on an in-station monitor. Therefore, the staff won't have to waste their time chasing line jumpers.
But, alas, this costs money, and money is one thing Six Flags is short on.
You just have to deal with it. People aren't stealing anything, so they are not going to put more security cameras just to watch line jumpers. It costs too much as you said.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
Even if security cameras are installed, it's still not gonna stop people from line jumping. Every park has the problem, and it won't go away any time soon.

By the time the line jumpers are seen on camera and security goes towards them they will be gone. I mean its not like Six Flags is going to waste their time looking for line jumpers if it is out of their way, that would take way to much time and it doesn't affect anything really.
The Thing with line jumpers is that they break the rules and if we dont do any thing about it. it will only get worse. the reson why lines can get long is because of the line jumpers we may no relise it but 1 or 2 cuts can soon turn in to 3 or 5 and so on and so forth it can mean the differance between a 1 hour wait and a two houre wait
I think just having security walk along the exit ramps every once in a while would be more effective than security cameras.
All you have to do is shout LINE JUMPERS loud enough so that the ops here you, and they'll kick the line jumper out of line. I shouted on Deja Vu and it worked.
