Uhhh, no. SfGadv's coaster will be a big ride. Superman's track and supports started showing up in the fall, so if we were to get a coaster this year, it doesn't mean it has to come in July.
Have you guys heard any of the rumors about this thing? Its supposed to either be a record breaker or close to the height of ttd. Its at least rumored to be over 300 feet tall. They allready have the location of the launch cleared allong the side of rolling thunder, and they are rerouting the end of the wild safari near medusa for this thing.
Yes I'm thinking it will be much more than L :TH: B. I have a feeling it will be more like Xcelerator for some reason. They already have so many inversions in that park and Batman and Robin where you get to go under the tophat! Wow what is with SF and the whole X thing . . . X . . X-Flight . . Max. . . Maxx. . . Maxxx. . . hmm...
Awesome, maybe this will help some people overlook the Rolling Lumber. What a sad coaster . . . I forgot that they had that nice plot of land right there. SFGAdv has a ton of room.
This ride will not be a record breaker cause if you do the math
Xcelerator's length is 2202'
The New coaster is supposedly 2480'
Now if we look at this, 2202+100 feet (Which makes the Height 305 feet) would give us a length of 2302'. and they probobly have enough room to do overbanks to make the speed get up to 305 Feet. TTD Length is 2800 Feet so for sure this coaster isent a record breaker
Looking from the plot of land they are using, a 300 footer would even be pushing it. So, I'm not expecting a 400 ft. coaster. Anyway this is wierd. Parks are still building rockets, even with the major problems with TTD...They are probably perfecting the design though.
This rocket won't be like TTD in a few ways. It won't have over 3 trains and it will have shorter launch and braking track.(And might launch out of the station.)
I suspect that it will be more than 300 feet tall. And less than 450 feet tall.
Look at the way the footers are, looks like a TTD triangular support setup, and I can't quite guarentee this but the footings look like straight parralel lines. Or at least thats what I see of it.
....can you say launch tophat brakes?
Why does TTD need six trains because I thought it isn't a long ride? Do they use all of them? Is there stacking at all?

I doubt SFGA will get a new coaster for 2005. They will probably wait a couple of years until they build something new and besides they would probably take out another coaster to put something new in.
