Here's one more reason:
Screamscape ( ) reported it, but it made sense. If SFGAm adds a floorless, they will have the complete line of B&M coasters. This would make SFGAm a good candidate for a prototype. If we were to take down Iron Wolf, not only would make it impossible to have the complete line, but it would also get rid of B&M's first. Although the GP doesn’t know or care if it was the first B&M, B&M would know and it wouldn't make our park look as good to B&M for the prototype.
You kids have way too much time on your hands. Go outside and play.
Anyways, how can you make a generalization that all parks dont care about history?? Hmmm? Take our park for instance. We have far more of the Marriotts charm left than our "sister" park in Cali does. There isnt anything left there.
Hey, rides have to go because of buisiness. You sometimes forget that scrapping history plays no part in removal of rides. Whizzer is hard to keep running, thats a fact. Thats why it was on the chopping block. Sky Whirl bit the dust because of the same thing. Its all about the dollars, and that it.
But i'll put in my two cents.
I agree with the whole all types of B+Ms Things. That woulkd be a cool move fro Six Flags. But keep in mind that coaster enthusiasts don't matter in the slightest to these people. the GP is where the money is at. and they don't give a Rats @$$ if they have all five styles of B+Ms. and Iron wolfs ridership, while it still is decent, is getting lower. Because of the headache/whiplash issue. I can't speak for everyone but most of my friends won't go on that anymore because of the headache/injuries the ride has induced on them.
So IW could go or not. I think that it will be taken down within the near future, but only time can tell how near.
I think Iron Wolf just needs some TLC. A new paint job would really help this coaster look great again. And add some extra soft padding to the restraints and this coaster would be great.
If they changed the trains in which the harnesses were different, a whole lot more people would go on it. However, that would mean longer lines for me. BOO. The thing is that they made the harness too close together so most of the time you can't avoid getting your head bounced around in the cork.
I don't know why but on V2, a lot of people don't have their heads back and I ALWAYS see heads bouncing back and forth. On D Vu it's on the cobra roll, but that is nice and soft padding. Goodnight. LoL
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
I've never experienced headbanging on Deja Vu before. To your V2 comment I think it's some of the funniest things to see people on their first ride on V2, they always have their head waaaaaaaay forward all ready for launch.
