Ok I know this is a SF forum but this is the only roller coaster forum I could remember. I want to go to Cedar Point sometime next week and I was wondering what 2 days would be best to go. I was thinking Mon. and Tues. but I don't know. Do i even need to go 2 days if I go during the week or what?! I would like to relax and not have to run to each roller coaster(like i usually do,hehe) to get the whole park done Or is it always crowed durning summer?!? Somebody please respond!
ps, what happend to TTD?!?!?! TELL ME!!!
July and August are busy months for amusement parks so you better plan 2 days at CP. If you want to be able to hit all the coasters and flats without rushing, definitely do 2 days.
TTD is back up and running. It went down for a few days due to a cable fraying which caused minor injuries to some riders.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
I would suggest to atleast go two days. The park itself is huge and will take two days to get around. They also have many other things to do around the area:Soak City, beaches, and the Challenge park.
BTW, here is alink to a CP website and forum where you can get more info on the park.

Yeah if you want to relax - 2 days should be fine. I don't know how you feel about the waterpark but like mentioned above that is an option. I went on a Tuesday and we were a little on the aggressive side of getting to coasters (no time spent in the park that we weren't in line or on rides) and we got on every coaster in the park including 2 rides on TTD, 3 on MF, 6 on WT, 4 on Maggie, and a handful on Raptor. Read my TR if you want to know how to avoid the long lines. If you stay in a resort there you will be able to get in and ride for a half hour before the gates open. Also - at 11:00 be sure to get Millennium Force and Mantis handstamps as those are the two longest lines/slowest moving and are the most economical. I live in Ohio - PM me if you have any specific questions, I'd be more than willing to help.
Monday and Tuesday should be fine if those are the days you plan on staying. I visited the actual park for 1 1/2 days and rode everything more than once. (Well it was probably the 2 slowest days of the year for the point, though.) Also, the park hasn't been too busy this year. Just stay away from Fri-Sun. Even if you could go Tues-Wed, you would maybe have a better time because Mondays are usually up in the air whether it will be crowded or not. Hope I helped.
Hey new poster here!
Anyways CP usuially has pretty short lines during the week but Friday-Sunday the lines are long. I just got back from CP and Tuesday and Wednesday are the best days to go.

The great thing about about CP is even though its crowded, they keep the lines moving very quickly. Everytime I go its during the week, mon- tues, or tues-wed. Two days is best if you want to relax a little while in the park. That should give you plenty of time to get all the coasters in, and have time for some other things too.
In almost any line, it's almost impossible to be standing in one place (given that it hasn't broke down). I'll never see a line move any faster than MF in '00.
