I saw "The Day after Tomorrow" at the cheap theatre by my house tonight and all I've gotta say is that if your a weather buff this movie is for you. Very, very cool special effects.

Cubs won today for those who don't know 5-1. Alou had a 2 run shot and Sosa had a 2 run shot. Alou ha 25 on the seaon and Sosa has 19. Wood went 6 innings giving up only 1 run and struck out 6.
I just want to say that on July 31st, the new episodes of both Teen Titans (These are the last episodes of season two unaired and after that season three will start on Aug 28th.) and Justice League (Now Justice League Unlimited with Supergirl. Yeah!!!) will be on Cartoon Network at 7:00 p.m. central time.

I guess to each his own. All cartoons are not kiddy though. You can look at South Park and see which audience that brought in. There's 168 hours in a week. If you think that you would even be a little interested in it and have Cartoon Network, that's only an hour, and you will not be forced to watch ever again. I guess I just posted that in case anyone watches it already, and wants to know when it's going to be back on with new episodes.
Wouldn't it be worth it just to watch it and tell me how much you hate it, and that you will never take my advice again? J/k

AL East- Yankees. I'd like to go with the Sawks but they just don't have what it takes to compete with the Yanks.
AL Central- White Sox. It's gonna be a battle all through September but the White Sox will come out on top by a few games at the most. If they want to get anywhere in the playoffs the pitching is gonna have to step up.
AL West- Oakland. Texas is gonna flop, maybe they'll get the wild card but they won't be able to keep it up while the A's have the best pitching in baseball.
NL East- Atlanta. At the beggining of the season I picked Philly but they just don't have it all together to win. We all know the real reason the Marlins won it all last season (Ozzie ).
NL Central- Cardinals. The best team in the NL. No one will come close, they are totally ON FIRE and have what it takes to keep it that way. The Cubs will probably get the wild card, STL will win the NL.
NL West- I know nothing about this division, but LA seems to be the only good team.

I have to say that the Angels are foing to win this division, or the wild card, once they get healthy, they wil lget on a tear, and their leading the randy johnson and steve finley trade talks.
I've always liked the A's for this division. Look at the rotation. Mulder, Hudson, Zito, Harden. Now that is a DAMN GOOD rotation I think all of them are very capable of getting 20 wins at any given season.
They have Dotel hes not bad. But the A's rotation is not as good as the cubs.
Mulder, Hudson, Zito and Harden are not as good as Prior, Wood, Maddux, and Zambrano/Clement. Not to mention the fact that the Cubs 5th starter is actually good unlike Mark Redman. Matchups and edge.
Mulder vs. Prior: EDGE: Prior his 1st full season in the majors last year he posted a 18-6 record with a 2.43 ERA, which is a better season then Mulder has EVER had, enough said. Prior has been injured this year but if it wasn't for that Prior would most likely have numbers close to Mulders.
Hudson vs. Wood: EDGE: Hudson, Wood doesn't get to much run support but his numbers aren't as good as Hudsons except for his K's. Wood was injured some of this season, but it still looks like its going to be a pretty good season.
Zito vs. Maddux: EDGE: Maddux, Zito had one outstanding season Maddux has had to many to count, not to mention that Zito is having a horrible season and Maddux is heating upin the 2nd half as always
Harden vs. Zambrano: EDGE: Zambrano, hes 23 and has beenin the league for 5 years and is having a carrer year, Harden is 22 and came into the league last year and posted decent numbers but he ain't better then the Big Z.
Redman vs. Clement: EDGE: Draw, both have very similar carrer numbers, Clement is having a great season if only the offense would score some runs for him it would be better.
To me its 3-1 Cubs advantage I'm open to any arguements anyone may have.
What I mean about KC is that they are worse then we are.
And you think our team is too young?
Higgy
Pudge
Guillen
White
All very good players who have been around for a while.
We still have many games against the tribe and W Sox.
This gives us a great opportunity to get back to the top.
Were in better shape to win our division than the Cubs are theirs.
Plus, what was with the ump pulling Bonderman and Tram last night? That was really uncalled for.
