Wow, the typical Bush supporter BS. Were you there for 9/11? OSAMA DID IT, NOT SADDAM.

Yeah and it's believed to be that Saddam was linked in with Al Quida with the weapons, he did have weapons that UN inspectors did not allow (and used them against us btw). What was stopping him from having WMD's? Bush realized this and did something about it...he was told to confront us and he ran into his little hole.

I know that Saddam was a tyrant, but what about North Korea and Cuba. Both of those countries are as much qualified as Iraq was to be bombed by us. Both of those countries also have tyrants. I know that we have troops in Afghanistan, but that is the only place we should have them.

They were not believed to be linked with Al Quida as Saddam was and no influence for an all out attack on they're dictators.

Even without Saddam, terrorists are still slaughtering Iraq’s people. Why are the terrorists after everyone? It's because the American's bombed them

So they bomb they're own people because we went after they're dictator?

We need health care.

http://www.bankerslife.com/Web/default.aspx

Those of you that think we wen't to war because President W. wanted to 'avenge' the Gulf War or whatever you mean that's total BS.

Sorry Mr. Papas, while I generally enjoy your posts, I must make an attempt to clear up that common error of linking Saddam and Al-Queda.

There has been no credible collaborative link found between Saddam Husseins Regime and the Al-Queda network.

There have been two supposed links continually reported by your usual conservative outlets.

1) An Iraqi official met with one of the 9/11 hijakers in Prague. This was intitially reported by the Czech republic then debunked as the erroneous reporting of one of their agents - The meeting never occured.

2) Osama or one of his higher ups met with Saddam in 1994 seeking help.
This meeting occured sometime between 1992 - 1994. Saddam never replied to the request nor did he allow any Al-Queda Militant in his country.

It has been known to some middle east scholars that Osama hated Saddam Husseins lifestyle his palaces, pools, statues etc. He claimed that the decadance was too "western". Saddam for his part felt that Al-Queda could potentially attempt to overthrow his government. (This is kind of ironic given that it is those same kind of forces that our trying to overthrow the current Iraqi council placed by the U.S.)

As for the current leader of some of the uprisings - He is believed to be a former leutenant in Al-Queda who was training in the North with the Kurds- our supposed allies, prior to the U.S. invasion.

Speaking of supposed allies and links to Al-Queda, can anyone tell me how many of the 9/11 morons were of Saudi origin. How many Saudi's were involved in attacking the U.S.S. Cole? What nationality is Osama himself?

We should have concentrated all of our firepower and finished the job in Afghanistan first. Even Hitler eventually learned you can't fight a 2 front war effectively.

Yes I am glad Saddam is gone, kind of sad he is alive , but revolution and overthrowing of dictators should be left to the people of Iraq. Of course shortly after the Gulf War we supported an small rebellion, but quickly backed off due to pressure from........ guess which country... thats right Saudi Arabia! It was a condition of using their land for our bases during the war. With friends like that - who needs enemies.

And if you truly believe in invading countries to prevent terrorism tell me -
When does the invasion of Saudi Arabia, Iran, Syria, Lebenon, Morocco, Pakistan, Palestine and the Phillipines begin or better yet where does it stop?
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

There are plenty of other bad men in the worlds government. You dont see us attacking, Noth Korea, Liberia, Ukraine, Russia, Japan, Phillipines, Cambodia, Mongolia, Macedonia, Luxembourg, and Ill stop ther because I hope I have proven my point.

There are many Cruel Governments that have suspicious military weapon production. If we were to try and eliminate the complete threat of every country We would wipe out half the world.

What have I missed while I was at GAm!? I went onto Whitesox.com to see they got Everret again! Great addition with Frank on the DL for an extended amount of time. With Aaron Rowand in center I expect him to mostly DH with Frank gone with random placings in the outfield once in awhile.

Cubs blew a 7 run 1st inning to lose to the cardinals, and fall to ten games back.

Cub fans, it looks like its becoming a race to win the wild card.

What about Zambrano yesterday? Hitting Edmons then yelling at him, and then hitting him AGAIN? What's with Cubs pitchers attitudes?

Zambran is exactly what you said He Has the Talent to be the best pitcher in the bigs, but it seems like ever 2 or three games he ends up doing something stupid.

Hey did you guys hear about Linda Ronstad, who dedicated a song to Michael Moore and the crowd booed her, tore her posters down, and demanded their money back. I mean I dont like Moore, but that is insane.

^ I know, that was just a joke.

Anyway, have you guys seen Jeopardy lately? Ken keeps on blowing out everyone. He's been on Letterman, Regis, and Leno talking about his winning streak. Today's the season finale. If he wins he will come back in September. How long do you think he will keep going?

And, the White Sox are FINALLY playing the Tigers tonight. Robetson vs. Loaiza. Remember last year:

The Tigers won more games against the White Sox last year -- eight -- than they did against any other club. That included a road series win, taking two out of three at U.S. Cellular Field in late May.

We (DET) still have a shot at the division. Your thoughts?
Here are mine: GO DETROIT TIGERS!!!
Sorry CWS fans.

http://www.zipzoomfly.com is better in my opinion. Free 2 day shipping just can't be beat.

I just got my fedex package from NewEgg.com just a few hours ago with my brand new pc3200 400mhz 200 pin sodimm (x2).

And what type of computer did you get? I sure hope it doesn't have a Celeron Processor.

$75,000.
