Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby SFGA 11 on July 19th, 2004, 3:52 pm
Arrived at park late around 11:30. Got in parking lot and noticed the first parking lot was packed, so I thought it would be too bad. Went to Triple Play first. On the way there we noticed Stargate was packed, not a good sign. Skipped Triple Play because it was out of entrance. Walked around a bit but didnt go on any hting becasue every thing was crowded. Finally just decided to go on Eagle.

Went on Blue Front Row. It was much smoother than the back but not as fun.

After that walked around a bit and noticed every thing was gonna have a long line all day. So, just decided to ride KC then take a train ride around park to take some pictures, then leave.

KC's line was about a 10 minute wait, not too bad. After hearing such bad reviews I wasnt expecting much. I was surprised by it. I would give it a 7/10. The beginning is awesome and so is the end. I cant wait till it gets water effects it will be awesome then.

Then went on the Scenic railway then left.

Overall it was a good day for only staying a couple hours.

I took alot of pictures too.... http://community.webshots.com/user/robscoasterpics

Thunderstorms are your friend! (As long as they stay away, along with tons of people).

Two 7/19 topics, one busy and one not busy. Was it crowded or not??

I made the first post about Monday, not to argue what is conceived as busy let's go by times. Bull 10 Minutes, Eagle Blue !0 Minutes, Triple Play
1:00 no wait same for Train, Revolution, Tea Cups Richocet. Rode King kaos 9 times about I load wait. Big Easy Ballons walk on. Batman 15 minutes. V2 25 for the front, anyway to me it was great. A tip going enough you learn how to work the park.

I was only there for a couple hours and it was at the peak of the day I guess around. Like 11:30 - 2. I'm guessing earlier on in the day and later on at night it wasnt quite so crowded.
I considered it crowded because SSA had a full queue, Cajun Full Queue, BEB full queue, same with many other rides.

When I got to the park around 6P.M. yesterday I got on everything except Demon and Whizzer in the 4 hours I was there. I dont think it was very busy but a little bit. I got 2x's bull, king chaos and Iron Wolf. Over all good night. (as for tomorrow cad, remeber last tuesday the weather people called for bad thunderstorms? they never came, park was EMPTY)
Watch out theres a new Hurricane in Gurnee, IL!

When I looked, it said 50% in afternoon but 30% at night, so it may or may not. Hit or Miss.

2 times this year the weather channel was predicting storms all day. It didn't rain at all.
If it rains or storms, then let it. There's nothing we can do about it.

With the heat and chance of storms tomorrow, I don't expect it to be too busy.
