Six Flags Darien Lake

---
Well, it was a 4 hour drive to this park. But it was worth it! If you havn't been reading the series of TRs lol, I had been staying in Ohio with Zach (coasterzak) and his family. So we got to the park and there was Superman: Ride of Steel. Such an awesome looking ride! Makes you get really pumped up just seeing it.
---

Mind Eraser:
Just me and Zach rode this one so I could get my credit on it. It was a hang-n-bang SLC, so we just wanted to get on and get off and be done with it. After waiting because of one train operation, we got our ride. It was alright, though I definitely enjoyed Thunderhawk at Geauga Lake more.

Boomerang:
Nice little boomerang ride. Had the newer trains which are really funny looking. It was fun. Only took one ride since they were only running one train on that as well. ;)

Superman: Ride of Steel:
Well, at first this ride was down. We were a little nervous that we wouldn't get on it. But then they started testing with water dummies. After while they opened the line and we got into the station without having to wait. Took a back row ride. Asked if they'd transfer the other train on and they gave a definite "no". So looked like it would be one train op all day. Oh well. REALLY liked this ride. Front row is amazing!! Awesome and completely worth it!

Predator:
This was an okay woodie. A little rough, but had a nice layout to it. Lots of potential. One train operation on this as well, so that gave it a bit of a wait.

Viper:
This is a really sweet Arrow! The layout is awesome and the Batwing rocks! Got 2 rides on it and there was no line. Running 2 trains.

---
Had a really fun day. Park isn't run the greatest, but there are some sweet rides. Definitely was a day of seagulls lol. They were everywhere in the parking lot. Got lots of footage here too and made another coaster video. This one is incredibly corny though lol. Sweet day.

So, which park do the like the best including SFGAm, and the ones in Ohio? Let me guess, Cedar Point.

I went there about two years ago and they only had one train op for Superman. Did they have water dummies on the train that wasnt running? When i went i liked Viper but someone spilled a fruitopia on purpose and it got alover my face.

Yeah Cedar Point is where my heart is... Even if SFGAm is my home park. I love Cedar Point.

There weren't water dummies on the other train, it was just sitting on the transfer. There were water dummies in the station, they had been testing earlier in the day with them. It was funny actually, in the shop at the end of the ride, there were a bunch of on-rides with the water dummies in them. Had to get a picture of that lol.

They dummy it every morning when starting it up to prevent valleying, for numerous reasons, mainly because it was built by Intamin ;).
They do the same with other rides such as the other S:ROS's, Millennium Force, and others.

Yes in the words of the foreign operators - "The dumms are there so the train'll come back!"
