Who has been here? Is it a nice park? They seem to have some pretty awesome rides. I am planning a road trip hopefully this year to go out here! That half pipe ride looks wicked!

I've never been there, but I heard it is one of the worst SF parks out there.

Its called Six Flags Elitch Gardens. It has Americas first and only Halfpipe Coaster. They did a really nice job on it though. Its on of the parks that could really use a BTR,SUF,or a Twisted Impulse coaster. I feel sorry for them though.

Yeah I went on their website last night and watched the video of the Half Pipe and that looks well worth the drive by itself!

Trouble with SFEG is that it is completely land-locked. Absolutely no room to expand so the park is on a very small scale.

I haven't heard any negative reports on this park as far as customer service is concerned.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

This park is the absolute worst six flags park out there. All of its rides are really old because theres no new land, so they built a crappy portable flyer and halfpipe. It used to be just elich gardens (sp?) but they moved it to either get away from the city or get closer (cant remeber because its stil in it anyways) and its ugly and small. I feel really bad for it, actually.

You should go to Kentucky Kingdom instead. It looks better.

I went to sfeg last year, it was a good way to spend the day, and the roller coasters were all right, not quite as good as sfgam, but it was still fun, and the park was empty the day I went. Also the day I went a local radio station had a thing that if you went to their web site you could get free tickets, me and my uncle didn't know about the (contest or what ever you want to call it) but a couple of girls in front of us printed off extras so it was free to get in, it was a pritty fun day!

Thats like saying "peperoni pizza is the best, why even try sausage?"

Why not go out and experience something new, they may be small, but so is IB, i know its a different situation, but in my opinion IB kicks major butt.

I would go to SFStL because they have Mr. Freeze which is awesome (LIM), Mine Train (great), Screamin' Eagle which is my #1 wooden roller coaster, Ninja which is somewhat like Shockwave, BTR, Scooby-Doo ride is cool, and it's not too crowded. They also have the Boss (woodie) which is the worst woodie I've been on.
They also have a better Scrambler, YO-YO, Excalibur which reminds of the Orbit, and a ride just like the Orbit, a Joker ship, a huge ferris wheel, and a better Trailbrazer (Rush Street Flyer). Oh, I almost forgot, a waterpark connected to the park.

Someone said SFKK. I wouldn't go because T2 is terrible, Chang is Iron Wolf, two woodies are so-so, and Greezed Lightning which was Tidal Wave. Honestly, the best two rides that they had were Penguins Blizzard River (raft ride), and Chaos (Chance).
