We just got through the tstudy of this in school. Ii is simple...AIR RESISTANCE!!!This is air pressure pushing on an object to slow it down.

Well after all of this mumbo jumbo has got us all confused, one thing remains the same:If both trains weigh the same, and the brake pressure is identical on both sides of the track, then the red train will win because it follows a shorter course.Enough said.
