Mardi Gras Construction Update

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

17 pictures of the construction of the 4 new rides in that area have been added. Most pictures show the construction of the parks 13th Roller Coaster, Ragin Cajun.

Also a few other photos have been added to the PhotoZone, including new photos of Raging Bull, Deja Vu, Demon, Batman and more.

I see King Chaos now has OTSR's on it. Nice high resolution pictures too Dave. Time to make that V2 movie you promised. :wink:

King Chaos in my opinion looks great. I think they did a great paint job too it. I hope they put some kind of neon lights for night time rides, but i highly doubt they'd do that.

What happened to the water cannons some people said were going to be on King Chaos? Will there be any?

Yes, there will water cannons. That’s what the big thing on the sides are for. I believe they are the water tanks that hold the water. Also, if you look in on the front of the ride you will notice that they build a little pond with a waterfall in front of it. I believe this is the access waters go.

I guess they are both. A double purpose water tank/support. I have ridden hammer head at Knotts Berry Farm and its like that 2 with water cannons. Its a really funn ride. the water just barely reaches you.
