May 8th and 9th-long

Let us know how your day at the park was.

Day 1-May 8th

We got to the park around 9:30. We waited until 10 for them to open the gates. Saturday was Girl Scout day and Band day, so it was pretty crowded. sprinted to RB and got on the 1st train and then we rode it 2 times. Overall, great ride, yet a little cold because it was only about 55 degrees.
Next we went to Viper. Great ride, but because of the new seatbelts, it seems as if it takes a lot longer to load the train. Another great ride, but it bugs me when you are at the top of the lift and it slows down. They also checked for gum.
Then we lost our party, and we were searching for them, but we rode the River Rocker. We also saw DejaVú testing so we went over there. I asked the employee standing there if you expect it to open soon, and he answered rather rudely. We heard someone say it could be up to 1 hour so we went and searched for our party again.
We walked around South West Territory because we were pretty sure that is where they were. We went by DejaVú to see if it was running and they were just letting people in. We got in the line and we were on the 3rd train. It took awhile until our train started going because people were not listening to what the ride operators were saying. They kept on putting down there harness’s before the employees checked their seatbelts. Great ride.
Then I found my mom because she had a VERY bright green sweatshirt that said Mountain Dew on it. Did anyone happen to notice her? Then my cousin and I got our season passes processed and we went to “The Fun Machine.” It was not that great, but because my mom was taking pictures of us, it was somewhat fun.
At around 11:30, I was very hungry. So we went all of the way around through the new Mardi Gras section and nothing was open yet it looked as if it was coming along very well. Rajun Cajun had about ½ of the track on. King Chaos looked finished and looked very good! Is everything in that section supposed to be finished by next weekend? We finally reached Moose Burger Lodge and then we ate.
After we ate, A we went on Revolution. We waited about 10-15 minutes. It was really fun. I didn’t get dizzy too badly. The only negative thing I have about it is that it takes a long time for it to stop after the cycle is done. Then went on American Eagle, backwards. It was a walk-on. Good ride, but I think it needs a new paint job really badly.
When we got off AE, we didn’t know what ride to go on so we went towards Yankee Harbor and rode Batman The ride. While walking there, we heard someone talking amongst themselves and the guy asked if that was Batman, and he pointed to the yellow coaster. Then the guy said no, Batman is over there and he pointed to the right of it. So some people thought that they got a new coaster, when they just repainted it. We waited in line for about 45 minutes. The new paint job looks great. Also, did they put new Batman logos on the cars?
After we got off of B:TR we were weak so we went on the train. We went all of the way around and saw poor Shockwave on the way. Then my cousin and I rode AE again. I saw Brad and Kyle when I was walking up to the stairs, but you guys were exiting the ride so I did not say anything. We waited about 10 minutes and rode it backwards once again.
At around 5:00, we went on Viper. It was about a 25 minute wait, but only because the station was packed! They also kept on letting people from the exit get in the back two cars which held up my line.
Next we went on Raging Bull. The line was near the entrance, and it swerved, yet the line went rather fast. They were running three trains so that is why it was going fast. We were probably on it with-in 30-35 minutes. We sat in the second to back seat. Another great ride on RB.
Next we went on Trail Blazer and we saw an ambulance between Viper and RB. Did anyone else see this?? I don’t like the ride my myself, I just take pics! J
We went on Bull again, great as usual. I just can’t get enough of that 1st drop. After this, I think we went on Viper again, but I am losing my mind right now, and I can’t remember what we did the rest of the night.
All I can remember is we went on Superman before it closed and I rode 2 trains in front of my mom, so that she could be on the same train as us. When we got off, my cousin held her bag so that she would not have to take it on the ride. But since there were only 3 people in that row, my mom, my aunt, and my cousin, I hopped in and rode 2 times in a row! J It was great, just cold!
We went to the Six Flags gift shop, then we left and ate pizza and went to the motel!
Overall, great day, with the exception of the crowds because it was Band day and Girl Scout day. The weather was much warmer then we expected and because of the forecast, we thought it would keep the crowds away, but it really didn’t.

Day 2-May 9th

Got there at around 9:45. We waited until 10 and sprinted to RB. We got on the 1st train in the very back! Great ride once again!! Then we rode it again, and again and again. I think we rode it 7 times in a row. I met this kid from Chicago when I was riding RB so he hung out w/ us. We finally met up with Debbie, my aunt, and Bryan, my cousin.
Then we went on Viper. Walk-on, good ride, and I like the new shades and the new wood. After this, we went on Demon, two times in a row, without getting off. It was surprisingly not as rough as I remember.
While we were on Demon, we saw Vu testing so we went over to that. We waited about 10 minutes and got on! Another great ride! We went to the restroom and then went on Revolution! We rode it 2 times in a row. It was a walk-on. It feels like a different ride each time! Very good ride they added!!
After this, we went on Batman. We waited about 10 minutes, but it was very hot on the stairs. Once we got on, it felt great with the breeze. Once we got off we went on V2. It was about a five minute wait. The new supports didn’t seem all that noticeable.
We headed over to SWT again! We went on the River Rocker and then on RB three times, I think! On our last time riding Bull, they were giving announcements about the Severe Storm Watch and they said the ride might close, we appreciate your understanding. We got on the ride and had a blast. They dispatched one train after us before they closed it.
After we got off we headed for the exit since we had a 3 hr drive ahead of us. With-in 5 minutes it started raining so we went to the restrooms. It calmed down for a bit and then we went to get funnel cakes. Then we went to some gift shops, then left the park.
Again, another great day! Even better then yesterday! I wish the park could be like this all year. Walk-ons are GREAT! I will have a link of uploaded pictures up soon!

Yes, it was a great day. I also may have left out some coasters because I rode so much that I forgot all that I rode! :)
