First ride, Superman. Great ride as always, crew was very friendly and was asking how people's days were and thing like that.
Went to Deja Vu, hoping to get on it before it started raining. Next in line and what do you know, it starts pouring with lightning. Thankfully, this only lasted 30 minutes and was the last rain of the evening. So my friend and I got out of line and got some food.
Interesting note, the whole night, about every 30 minutes, an announcement would come on saying The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in the immediate area. Did they ever do this before?
After eating it was time for Revolution. AWESOME RIDE! I loved it, especially the second part. My friends and I didn't feel sick or anything afterwards, but we did see this one guy throw up in the exit

Next was American Eagle. The station was looking nice with its new paint job and the ride was running great! Who ever said it was running rough this year was wrong, it was pretty smooth for Eagle. The ride was running very fast thanks to the rain and was very fun. Oh, and the seatbelts do nothing to cut off airtime

Iron Wolf was right there so we decided to hop on. They had the operator doing the speils and he was HILARIOUS. He would stay stupid things like, Welcome to Iron Wolf, see that big yellow thing? Pull it down, see that belt thing hanging from it? Click it in. He had the whole station laughing.
What's that yellow in the corner of my eye? Why, it's Batman! Looking spiffy and very nice in its new colors. No wait for this ride. Is it just me or are there more colored lights on the ride and in the station? The ride seemed smoother, faster, and more intense this year. My head didn't even move! It was pitch black for half of the ride and it was awesome.
We then went on the new Stargate ride. It was ok, better than Space Shuttle America, but not as good as Dino Island.
The park was closing in an hour so we hightailed it to SWT. Went on Viper first, they added some new wood in the station for theming. Once again, the seatbelts do nothing to cut off airtime. Since the ride was still wet, we got a nice, fast, smooth ride. There seemed to be a lot more headchoppers and added wood on the ride. Great ride as usual.
Next was Raging Bull. Great ride as always, very fast, and there were even some high G's in the helix!
It was now 15 minutes before closing and we decided to go on Deja Vu as our last ride of the night. The line was 10 minutes, would have been 5 but the ride broke down for 5 minutes. Vu, when it was running, was running very well with little to no breakdowns. Great Ride, very smooth, no headbanging at all.
I went through the Mardi Gras area and there are some changes from last weekend. First, some of the rides had their signs up. Second, there were more support things on King Chaos. Thrid, The bottom half of Ragin Cajun is completed. There was also one train on the track. It was very dark out side so I couldn't get a good look at it, but it looked like it was pretty nicely themed. And fourth, the band shell construction has started.
I also notice through out the park that there were lots of changes. One that comes to mind is that everything was repainted! Also, all of the employees seemed a lot more friendlier and were interacting with guests a lot more. One more thing I noticed was the amount of sweepers! At one time, I saw 3 of them at the same time!
So that was my night! Very fun, even though it was cold. Goodbye!
