Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

it shouldn't really matter if you have proper limb control as the restraint should restrain you no matter what. lets say a person becomes unconscious on a ride. they'll loose control over their limbs, but you would expect they they would stay in the car (albiet flopping around) if the restraints worked properly.

at this point, I don't believe that the cause of the accident is known so blaming either the rider, ride operator, or ride manfacturer is permature. wait until the reports are released to point the finger.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

Yeah you got a good point there about being unconscious on a ride. I was looking at some pics of superman ROS and millinium force and compared to some other rides, the cars and the seats on them two rides are kinda small. I got a picture of a big guy riding MF and he looks like donkey kong on a go-kart. The little girl on the raging bull that died was unconscious when the train came back to the station and she stayed in the ride. Maybe intamin needs to rethink those rides. Even TTD seating seems kinda rinki-dinki for a ride that goes 120 mph and 400 some feet high. Iam just comparing these to like the raging bull where you feel well tucked into youre seat.
Maneuverman.. pulling high altitude loops and zero g maneuvers every weekend.

I was at SFNE when the accident happened. But I was eating at like a sit-down type place in Crackaxle Canyon around 3 PM, so I totally missed it all. By the time we got down to the DC area, everybody was cleared out and there was just a small sign saying SROS was closed. We never even knew exactly what happened until around 6 when I checked a message on my cell phone from my mom. She saw it on the news. We heard a couple of people saying it around the park, but we were skeptical. We asked a couple of workers but they said they didn't know what happened. They're trained well I guess. A girl who was working the turnstyle in the Mind Eraser station was talking to these two people. They said that they heard that 2 people fell out and died, and the girl said "Whoever said that should have been ejected."
