It would be a hell of a good fit. I thought we could have used Great Chase from SF America but like you mentioned, Speedy is a bit younger.
Ya can't really put it near Demon & Rakshasa now even though I still Adore the "little devil" idea that Great Adventure did. But in that small plot next to Spacelys would be hella cute.

It fits perfect in that spot next to Spacelys!
I wouldn't mind if they made Camp Cartoon strictly a kids roller coaster area and moved the flats over to the Go Kart area and made that a separate kids area.
Oh yeah, it fits great. Try that overly with any other one of those models, it fits so well. Dollywood & Hershey has a perfect overhead view of theirs.

I used the cocoa cruiser from Hershey! Fits like a glove
Sure does. I'm tellin ya, they'd be silly not to give it to us at this point. It's an easy addition & would be such a great first coaster for the kiddos.
I've had several ideas of where to put it but that plot just makes the most sense. I do hope that the go karts close, they close Kidzopolis & move the rides there & they expand Yukon to be an entire "camp Looney". That leaves a massive open plot in County Fair for a major addition down the road & finally get rid of that awful "tent" structure & finally give AE a more direct queue.

Agreed 1000% Those rides from kidzopolis would be a much better fit in the Go Kart plot with Looney tunes theming.
I will celebrate the day that ugly tent structure comes down. That area should be just as beautiful as the front entrance. I would love to see a large fountain in the center, a Ferris wheel in place of the kids cars and a grand direct entrance to Eagle. That area has so much wasted potential. Same thing with Yukon territory.
I would love to see Eagle get some trail lights as well!
My idea for Kidzopolis was always to slightly integrate it with County Fair better. If Johnny Rockets was removed, along with the stage, unused food stall, and the tent they could reconfigure Eagle's entrance (again) and push the new kids area back to the service road with new bushes acting as a sort of fence.
As it is right now the Entrance makes it feel isolated and kids areas aren't really handled this way anymore, that's an antiquated design style.
Compare either Camp Cartoon or Kidzopolis to Kings Island's Camp Snoopy or even Cedar Points Kiddie Kingdom and you'll see what I mean, there's almost no barriers to them and they feel more open and sporadic.
I've always wanted them to create an American boardwalk section along the parking lot edge of Hurricane Harbor to put in a small "pier" like coaster, Ferris wheel, a flat or two & a restaurant. It would tie in so well with the Waterpark along side it. But now that they redid the HH entrance, that would have to change again aka it's never happening.

I didn't consider that, but you brought up a great point. If this were to happen, I would also want that booth with the basketball game removed so that there would be room to place a flat or something there. Could probably help the theme feel better implemented into the existing area since there wouldn't just be some kiddie rides to the side of the main path. While we're at it, might as well destroy some of those game booths and replace them with flats or a huge shop.
For the Game Gallery I think it would be pretty neat to have half of it be one large store and the other half remain games. With less games, there shouldn't be a need to board some of them up like they were this year.
I can't really think of any other way to remove or replace it without ruining the look of the area, because behind there is a pretty sizable warehouse that would be difficult to conceal.
As for the basketball game/revolution's old plot, there's probably some long term plan for that, because it seems obvious that little shack they build isn't meant to stay there.

I remember when that “warehouse” was actually a guest area. I wish I had picture of it, but it was all skeeball on the back wall and I think there was some other stuff in the center and sides. It’s also a storm shelter.

I guess this shouldn't be surprising, but I kind of wish that for just one season while it exists, the park allowed guests to use at least some of the area as a miniature picnic grove of sorts where kids could run around and people could relax. There isn't anything there so it's not like anybody could file a lawsuit against the park if they were injured on some metal and being able to sit somewhere not on the main pathway surrounded by coasters sounds pretty neat in my opinion.
When I visited Cedar Point in 2024, I saw some kids playing in a fenced off patch of grass near the restrooms by where Siren's Curse is now and while part of me was frustrated that parents would let their children in a fenced area like that, they were definitely having fun and I think that's what really matters as they weren't damaging the grass or anything.
Hopefully with the new kids area, we either get a small playground or one of those buildings with ball blasters and structures kids can climb around in. I remember seeing a video of the one they had at SFA and everybody, kids and adults alike, looked like they were having fun. Probably won't happen, but it would be appreciated.
I still wonder if this might be something for 2026. Because they are moving fast
Whatever it turns out to be, I'm just happy the go karts are gone! The 3 biggest eyesores in my opinion were Buccaneer Battle, Go karts and Kidzopolis. Two down, one to go!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that appears to just be the normal fence that separates the midway from the race track. Obviously, the fences are missing where the station used to be, but I don't see any new gates. The green chain link fence to the left side of this image has also always been present.
These are 2 different images taken from drones. One from Chicago coaster guy and one from wheelgap. Maybe I'm wrong, but one appears to show the fence and the other one doesn't. Maybe it's just an optical illusion because of the snow

Funnily enough the "Ball Blasters" were something we used to have here when we still had Bugs Bunny's National Park, would be cool to see it back but i think these things are a 90s product.
Playground would definitely fit as Bugs Bunny's National Park also used to have that (it even dated back to Fort Fun in the Marriott era i believe). Or whatever they're cooling up for Magic Mountain that could work for us too
Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back

Yep, I remember the ballpit/playhouse thing. We were in there for my first year Rides Training taking shelter from the rain. If I remember right that was either the last year it was there or it was a year later. I started '09.
It was SBNO for a while before BBNP was removed?

Also, Siren's Curse is awesome and you should give it a try.
If this does turn out to be a kid's area. I highly doubt they will add additional kid's rides without removing some or shifting existing rides from Kidzopolis and Hometown Park. Due to labor costs
I've noticed, they almost always remove something when they add something.
2011: Space shuttle America and Bugs bunny national park removed for riptide bay and relocated go karts 2012: Great American raceway and splash waterfalls removed for X-flight 2014: Iron wolf removed for Goliath 2015: (Anomaly) Hometown kids rides are restored with no removals 2016: Southwest amphitheater removed for Justice League 2017: Orbit, Jesters wild ride and Ragin cajun removed for Joker and relocated Lobster 2018: King chaos removed for Mardi gras hangover 2019: Pictorium removed for Maxx Force 2021: Pictorium removed for Tsunami surge 2024: Dare devil dive removed for Sky striker 2025: Buccaneer battle removed for Wrath
Great America seems to be really good at keeping their labor and maintenance costs under control and that's one of the many reasons it was the most profitable park in the legacy Six Flags chain

That is the fencing that has always been there....It was in my drone shot but i just think because it's a different angle it appears to not be there. The only part that doesnt have the fence is wherte the station used to be.
Nothing has changed on this site since my visit or at least that how it appears ot me.
You know what.....I just came back to the forum on a random visit and I find it comical that the Go Karts track is gone, but the little Island with the umbrella for the employee watch position is still standing.
