Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back
While I agree with you, because V2 will go down with the flumes, I can say Demon is time limited.
Don't forget Cedar Fair management is in charge and they have killed many arrows the last few years.
I'm actually shocked Corkscrew at Cedar Point is still operating, probably because it would be a nightmare to replace. Even the locals hate that thing.

If the flumes go they better be replaced by a bigger flume

Agree with you on this one! I see V2 going before Demon. They have been removed at some of the other parks.

CF management won’t be in charge. There’s a new CEO coming and 4 board members have been replaced by people from outside of either company.
It’s going to be new people running the show now.
And before you say anything, just because the CFO or other execs are staying for now, doesn’t mean that won’t change. CEOs usually come in and evaluate the other execs before making changes.

IF the giga were to go in that plot, the re-use of the King Chaos name would be an epic fit for a massive coaster in that area & full circle moment. That name & theme could also be a great opportunity to use a mix of some great colors.

I was thinking the exact same thing. That name would be ideal for the giga and the Orleans theme.
If they demolish Johnny Rockets and give that area a concrete facelift like they did with the Demon/wrath pathway. It could look really good

That plot doesn't have a good track record sadly

I'm in the minority here but I loved Mardi Gras Hangover. The name, the colors & the way it stood out in the skyline oddly enough. All I ever wanted was that they kept the chaos fountain with the gator statues. So I'm VERY down for a revamp of that area to bring life into that plot again if it's done well.
A green spine, yellow golden rails, & rich purple supports. King Chaos reigns again. imagine.
What do you mean? Like headquarters? That doesn't seem too bad but I can understand some concerns.
Let's be real, it's very rare that we don't go our own direction. Superman & maybe Joker being some of those rare instances. We typically do things a tad bit different & I think that will continue on well into the future.
Getting a giga doesn't mean the park is becoming corporate. It's what the vast majority of the customer base wants. So, they are delivering.
Back when Deja Vu was removed, the customer base wanted a worthy replacement. Corporate didn't listen and installed Buccaneer battle, which was a complete flop.
They pretty much lit $10 million on fire and spent years paying for staff and maintaining a ride that had no ROI. It was a terrible business decision and that's why they have never done something like that again.
CoastsToCoasters, I love your idea for the color scheme. That would look amazing
Buccener in General wasn't a good ride to begin with, family rides themselves aren't bad, but Buccener just didn't fit where it was or heck wasn't really what should've gone there. I don't have any idea rn what would as Wrath is cool, but there were probably better choices in my opinion

Despite the giga leaks being fake, I honestly wasn't a huge fan of the layout, it's definitely far too short for being such a "standout", and I think that a giga coaster focusing on airtime is something I don't think I'd like, sure its nice to have a steel airtime machine but I feel B&M giga coasters are best when they focus on snappy twists and low to the ground moments like fury, having ridden Orion and Leviathan, they are fun but not outstanding. Though with Raging bull filling this niche of a low to the ground twister I guess I can see the appeal, just really isn't for me
Some time, on way to successful, first of steps of all of the steps to being successful steps are hardest of all of the steps to successing.

I mean we got Bull already, i don't think a giga would be a good enough standout in general with the size the park has. It's probably just gonna be a 30 sec ride

Fox, I don't know if you've been on a Giga, but the experience isn't quite like Bull. I've only done Millennium Force and Orion, both are good at bare minimum and I'm 100% in the minority when I say I prefer Orion because that thing has some actual forces to it. That element they dubbed the "Orion" helix/roll is way more intense than it appears.
If the one we get is somewhere in-between Orion and Fury, I'll be one happy camper. Also, SF execs, if you read this, light package like Orion, please......

I know, that's not a treble clef and I've actually never heard of it referred to as such. I have heard Fury's big Banked Turn Around referred to as the Treble Clef though.
That big circle on Orion is what I've heard the locals call the "Orion Roll" or sometimes "Helix".
