Corporate is just approving and bankrolling things refused by past regimes. Thank Maintenance and other park-level personnel -- the atmospheric upgrades to Batman, Demon, midways and such are extracurricular projects of theirs.

Jonrev, get ready for many more major investments that will be coming to Great America.

Magic Mountain, Great America, Great Aventure, Fiesta Texas, Over Georgia and Over Texas will be the primary focus for growth potential

I've said this many times but there are so many small pieces of charm and theming they can put into the park, i also believe shows/entertainment should be something to be invested in much more, as the Grand Music Hall isn't used much outside of Fright Fest and Dance Fest.

GreatAmericanFox uploaded a video highlighting the return of the themed music.

This was an easy fix to make the park more family friendly

I also appreciate the mention of my channel, didn't think it would be mentioned here because of how small it is haha

Looks like Kickin' Chicken is staying around, menu included. I'm surprised they didn't go for a re-theme.

The article implies that in order to do that, they’ll focus on families as the target. How many times have we heard this about Six Flags?

“A new family attraction at Magic Mountain would fit into the new Six Flags target demographic of mothers with young children – a departure from the thrill-seeking teens and young adults the old Six Flags used to court and attract.
Dieckmann held up Knott’s Berry Farm as a model for future attendance and revenue growth at Six Flags Magic Mountain.”

“Dieckmann attributed at least part of the success of Knott’s over the past decade to a $10 million investment in 2014 that expanded the Camp Snoopy themed land geared toward families with young children.”

It may be true this time, knowing the old Cedar Fair, surprised they're doing this for MM and not here

It makes sense for Knotts since they’re 7 miles away from Disneyland. However, Magic Mountain was always billed as the West’s Cedar Point. Their tagline then was “The Extreme Park.” And Magic Mountain is also a far drive from that area. I did that drive for years and it’s mostly miserable. In fact I used to stop at the Portillos next to Knotts on my way home from MM all the time lol.

We shall see how this all works out.

Not a problem GreatAmericanFox! I like watching your videos and I'm glad you made a video highlighting the return of the themed music! Something that nearly all of us have wanted to happen for years.

I am very impressed with how Cedar Fair handled Wrath. The new concrete looks great, the ride has amazing theming, and they managed to tie it into County Fair. Cedar Fair went the extra mile, which is something the previous Six Flags leadership always failed to do.

This is what I've always liked about Cedar Point. It is an elite coaster park but it's clean, inviting and very family friendly. The only thing that stopped Great America from being that way was the lack of effort by previous Six Flags regimes.

I'm curious to see how they will handle the new kids area next year. Will it be a refurbishment of one of the existing areas? Will it be a brand-new area in place of the go karts or those water slides?

I can't wait to see

GreatAmericanFox - Nice walkthru video! You captured some great details. You even included a small clip of X Flight for me! Thanks!

As for music I really think they should play "Saturday In The Park" by Chicago. It just FITS for several reasons!!

Knowing Cedar Fair with Cedar Point... Maybe acquiring/building nearby hotels? Over Georgia has 3 motels right next to the parking lot. They could bulldoze them and build a 3-400 room hotel?

Thanks, i wanted to get the music with the coasters and i felt that it was more interesting than showing nothing.

As for Saturday in the Park, it would be cool to have it in the front entrance
