I agree that it seems like the big statues are holding orbs behind their backs, but I'm not anticipating they will light up as they look like the same material as the rest of the statue... but it is a little hard to see from afar, it would be cool if they did!

The commercial shoot has been rescheduled for this upcoming Friday, take that as you will. There's still ongoing work on the site, but the weather was looking awful for the original Tuesday shoot. At the very least it does not seem that a passholder preview for Friday (which was never announced, just inferred by some) is possible anymore.

Is media day still scheduled for the 22nd? If that was moved, I'd be more concerned that its not a weather issue and more of a "ride is not ready" issue.

GreatAmericanFox- they’re incorporating County Fair into Rakshasa’s theming for you! Also, the sign has been installed! Looks great

Will there be another chance to apply to do it since the date moved?

Disappointed that possible rumor of a pass preview was a dud. But at least that sign looks cool. Still excited to go but I probably can't make it back until first week of June.

Please be open by then.....

I absolutely love that WoR is getting a legitimate, "in universe" backstory! If this was due to the new Cedar Fair merger, i think we have a lot of good things in store for future rides!

Sooo maybe the "Ornleas Bros" also have another Demon they're traveling with.... will the theme carry over? I'm not thinking an overhaul of theming by any means but maybe a new portal.

Awesome! Make that section with Wrath and Demon the Carn-evil  I still hope they make a 1970's style theme for Wrath. I could imagine the funk guitar and flute with a deep voice singing "Feel the wrath, Feel the wrath"

Safe to say Flags made an oopsie.

They posted that Rakshasa is now open. Unless it does publicly open this Friday after the commercial shoot because that's the only way this post makes sense.

^ text says now open, but the video says coming soon. Not that it makes it better, the two statements contradict each other, still an oopsie. But I don't see how the post would make sense if it opens Friday, the park is open tomorrow/Tues-Thurs

I'm definitely a fan of the whole "exhibit at the county fair" vibe, but that does seem to axe the idea John had mentioned of splitting off Demon and Wrath into their own mini-area and making County Fair smaller.

Thought we were still weekends only. Hence why I thought that ad would have made sense because that would mean Wrath would be open the next following operating day from when the ad appeared.

They have since reposted where the video and text no longer contradict.

New video from CoasterNick! Plague productions is doing an amazing job with the theming. They are definitely going the extra mile for this one

I'm really excited to see this at night, there's some good potential. Unfortunately for me that probably won't be for awhile since I mostly do weekdays

So when watching the test footage, all the trains look the same colors. Anyone notice any differences yet?

Also when the train was originally shown, below the seats the name looked like it was applied to the train via sticker. Is that still there? I couldn’t see it in the test footage.

Is it safe to assume they might change some of the paint or put some new logos on? Or are we just not seeing the differences from far away?

^ the only differentiator I know of right now is the side of the rows display the car and row. For example Train 2 Row 3 will have "2.3" in white. There might be something else when we are up close but on the construction tour it seemed like every train had the same colors.

When the trains were shown during the construction tour, the name below the seats you are referring to were not applied via sticker at the time. The print shop just printed a couple of those on some wood as a placeholder for the tour. It seemed like their intention was to eventually put them on the train as stickers, but I have not noticed it on any of the trains.

^ Tidal Waver, your question has been answered! Check out coasternick3157 on Instagram. There are decals on the trains (or at least one of the trains) that are different than what they showed for the construction tour!

I love the look! Definitely better than the logo.

Also looks like people have ridden it today.

My guess would be these are construction workers and employees.

I’m currently at the park and noticed not only a drone flying around the coaster, but also a sign in front of the County Fair sign reading “Media and Guest Check-In” and people on the ride, from kids to adults. Am I out of the loop or is there an unscheduled commercial shoot today?

EDIT: Just noticed the other posts which were posted while I was making the original post.
