I agree with having the Looney Tunes in the park, but who says there can’t be room for both? We already have two kids areas so they could just retheme one to Snoopy and one for Looney Tunes.

I'd rather Kidzopolis become Planet Snoopy if I had to choose
I think the new management will want to stick with looney tunes for SF Legacy Parks. I wouldn't be upset if they decided to add Peanuts.
What I see an issue with is the whole IP Crossover thing. The IP owners may have conditions for whether or not they allow their property to co-exist with another. Believe it or not, some of them are super strict on where and how their Characters are presented.

Realistically, the CF park with a high chance at getting Looney Tunes is California's Great America for obvious reasons
Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back

No, that park will be closed by the end of 2027.
I hope they bring Gold Striker over to our park. Or even RailBlazer.
I don't think they can relocate a big coaster like railblazer, besides, are they really gonna remove Maxx Force, the Railroad, and the Water park for it?

It would have fit in Buccaneer Battle's spot but they have other plans.
Go Karts would easily fit it.
ok i think i was high or something, i meant GoldStriker *facepalm*
Even if we’re talking Gold Striker, all the park would need to do is move Loggers’ Run’s station to the side a little, possibly making it part of Camp Cartoon, move Little Dipper to Kidzopolis or something I guess, remove the go-karts, remove some buildings, and fill in part of Flash’s lake.

I still think they might squeeze one in for 2026 to quickly fill the stupid loops void, replacing a "coaster" with a coaster. and just relocate Triple Play somewhere else. That would be cool having a raptor running right next to the train

There's no way they will reworke all of that area just for a coaster, at most they'll put a flat ride

I doubt that. After all, they tore out all of BB for Rak. At the minimum, they’ll destroy Triple Play instead of relocating Triple Play.
They could probably fit a custom Vekoma Family Boomerang in that space without removing Triple Play. The track would need to be elevated like Luna at Liseberg in order to clear the pathways and train.

Yeah well, Great America is a thrill park and adding new thrill rides is what brings guests through the gates and makes money. Emotional and nostalgic reasoning isn't how this business functions.
Will Cedar Fair beautify Great America and make it more family friendly? Absolutely. But are they going to transform it into a family park and bring it back to how it was in the 1970's? Hell no!
Cedar Point is more of a well-rounded family/thrill destination park with resorts and a marina. It makes financial sense to add family attractions at Cedar point
Great America is just pure carnage at this point. lol There's roller coasters and thrill rides everywhere. Because that is what Great Americas customer base wants. Just go to the park on a Friday night and look at the people who visit Great America.

GreatAmericanFox - are you excited about Rak or disappointed?
At first, yeah i was very disappointed, not only because i think dives are mid but also because i wasn't really hoping for another coaster. Especially a big one like Rakshasa.
But the more i sat down and thought about it, especially after the press conference, i do feel like this is a good addition because let's face it, Maxx Force and Joker had bad capacity and didn't really help that much, plus both aren't good coasters in general. With how much effort they're putting in this ride plus the theming, I think this ride will probably turn out way better than those other 2. I also know someone said the county fair is a pretty ambiguous theme so anything goes pretty much.
But my point still stands, and if this is the last big coaster we get in a while, then i'm incredibly satisfied with it.

I'm not asking it to go back to the 1970s, i just want the cohesion and theming to be prioritized again, Park Pros had a point in his CGA review that both of those parks have potential in the theming department, i'd want them to use that to their advantage and create something cool, instead of destroying it all and not giving aything a purpose

If they don't close down CGA, I wouldn't mind if that became the Marriott-era family park, especially with SFDK nearby. They could transfer any rides they want to keep but aren't family friendly to SFDK, restore all of the lost theming, and retheme Planet Snoopy to Camp Snoopy! (I I think CAMP Snoopys are better.)
