I think there are only 2 memberships available though. Gold and Prestige. I have gold, a very old gold, but it's still gold. There is an option for upgrading to the all parks through gold. Just not working.[/quote]I’m talking about the legacy memberships. I read somewhere (but can’t confirm yet) that only certain levels of the legacy memberships will be able to add on the All Park Passport.

Ahh.. Time will tell lol, I'll give it a week then try again. Otherwise I will just cancel and buy again when the super sale goes on. I believe I pay the same price as the new ones (they've raised the price from initial) so it just doesn't make sense.

I was just told that the "All Parks Passport" was not live for current holders as of right now. Too fast of wanting Cedar Fair on my membership. (I know it's not live until January 6th) Still rather pumped about it. LOL

My prediction is a B&M Dive Coaster. It will not be a clone of Dr D. It will feature seven across seating and hold at least 3 world records (steepest drop, tallest, and most inversions (5) on a dive coaster).

My guess is that it will cross the midway and utilize parts of demons entrance, front queue and the former Skytrail spot.

Demons entrance and queue will be reworked. the old Demon Snacks shed could be torn down or re-purposes into a gift shop/ride exit. totally Kicken Chicken could be impacted too.

Seems like no better time than now to post my final prediction.

My final prediction is a B&M Dive Coaster with 7 across seating, five inversions, and a 96-degree drop. I believe that the station will be in a similar spot to Buccaneer Battle’s station with the train making a left turn out of the station and into the 180 foot lift hill, which will go over the midway. Once at the top, the train will turn around to face the midway and drop down the 96 degree drop. The train will then go into a hangtime-filled inversion over the midway. Succeeding this, the train will enter an Immelmann near the station and go into a zero-g roll. To end the coaster, the train will go into the mid-break run, a vertical loop that goes around the lift hill, a banked turn to the left, a zero-g winder, an airtime hill, and a banked turn to the right that goes under the airtime hill and into the final breaks. Before re-entering the station, the train takes a left turn into the aforementioned station.

As for theming, the plot is that the demon from Demon feels like he needs help scaring folks since nobody visits his attraction anymore, which he translates as him “losing his touch.” He decides to call his good friend, who is a Rakshasa, to help terrorize guests and tell the park’s owners to never miss payments on their roller coasters again! The Rakshasa builds Wrath of Rakshasa to hopefully finally convince guests that Six Flags Great America is too scary for them!

So yeah, that’s my whole prediction! Pretty crazy and definitely not happening, but I like to see what my imagination can conjure. Looks like I gotta set my alarm now to wake up at 5:00 am. I can’t believe it took me 56 minutes to type all this.

Marcus starts discussing it at 5am on WGN News but the press conference is set for 11am. Unless an announcement will come, and then the presser later.

I’ll take it! I got the Immelmann and the airtime hill right! Not in the proper order, but I’ll take it…

I don't see an airtime hill on it?

Here’s the layout. The drop goes over the midway and crosses into old SkyTrail spot and then in front Demon too.

I was mistaken. I thought the heart line roll-like element was an airtime hill.

The question now is…

What’s the next heavily rumored coaster that everybody seems to want at SFGAm?

Good question.

This is going to be one of their largest coaster investments. So I imagine we won’t get a coaster for a while after this, plus they are running out space unless they take something out.

The bigger version of a single rail or some sort of family coaster will likely be next.

Chang/green lantern. Those days on this website were WILD.

Plans were really changed at the last second because I remember seeing the base of the lift behind the fence at American Eagle.

There was a Pic of it floating around somewhere.

Road Runner Family launch coaster, it makes total sense. Would be even cooler if it was dulling and one was Wile E themed and the other Road Runner
Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back

My super early thoughts for the future... I could see the go karts retired and an expansion of Camp Cartoon. Maybe they would retheme to Camp Snoopy. Add a modern family coaster and then boom - Little Dipper, new modern and Sprocket Rockets all right there. This would probably mean the end of Yukon Territory but I'd be okay with that... Yukon BBQ and Logger's Run would still fit into camp cartoon/Camp Snoopy (besides Logger's Run being a fairly big ride, but still fits thematically)

I also agree that this would be cool. It could easily go into the plot that occupies Battle for Metropolis, which I could see being relocated next to Flash by filling in some of the lake or where the go-karts currently stand, preferably next to Flash. (I can’t risk Yukon Territory being shortened for more DC Universe, even if Yukon is the worst themed area of the park, even worst than DC.) Even if the park kept Demon, there would still be plenty of room for the coaster and even a new mini-land, which I hope the coaster would be apart of. I call it “Looney Tunes Gulch.” They could even move that Daffy Duck statue into the land.

Like I said, I feel Yukon is the worst area in the park so I wouldn’t mind it being removed, especially for Camp Snoopy! Then the park wouldn’t need to remove the picnic grove!

Does that Picnic Grove still actually get used nowadays? I'm all for removing those loud, smelly Go Karts for a kids area! Then Kidzopolis can eventually be annexed for the queue for Iron Eagle: Soaring to New Heights !

Possibly relocate those Kidzopolis rides to have one contiguous kids area?

Funny story about the picnic area recently. Saw it was opened so I entered despite the sign saying that the only event for the day ended 30 minutes beforehand. I got up to the second party area before some grumpy employee came through and escorted us out. I think that she thought that we thought that it was some shortcut, which I was well aware that it wasn’t. I just wanted to check it out.

To answer your question, yes, occasionally. They could easily clear out half of the party areas and not only have room for rides, but they still wouldn’t have a problem of all party areas being filled up.

I honestly wish they had it open as just a casual dining area for guests. No restaurants. Just greenery, birds, Aquaman, and quietness for the most part. That way, if people felt like walking from Steelworks to the grove, they would be rewarded with peace instead of more hustle and bustle. Don’t even announce it so that it doesn’t become overly crowded.

I am against Snoopy at Great America, Bugs Bunny National park for life.

This park started with Looney Tunes, and it's sticking with them

Whether we like it or not, there’s going to be IP crossover eventually. That was one of the main points when they discussed the merger was utilizing the IPs and crossing them over into each. There will DC themed stuff in legacy Cedar Fair parks and legacy Six flags will see Snoopy

Having Camp Cartoon or Kidzopolis be Camp Snoopy is better than what it is now

Yeah, but the park was always built on using the Looney Tunes since day 1, it's fair that they get more representation in our park over Snoopy, it's like if Knott's had a Looney Tunes takeover even if the park has also always been Snoopy even before Cedar Fair bought the park, it just isn't right

I just got the email about the Rock Bottom prices for passes. It seems that there's only the option to buy passes for our park . The "Passport" add on isn't available yet.

The 2 meal dining pass (good only at IL parks I think) is $100 (plus fees) which is reasonable.

Times change. That’s the results of the merger. I’d love a Snoopy themed area to replace Kidzopolis or Camp Cartoon.
