Hello everyone!

I hope you are all doing well, despite our lack of HitP(L) this year (L indeed).

I'm currently working on a documentary about Great America and I would love some help!

Anyone who visited or (especially) worked at the park in the inaugural 1976 season, I would love to hear from you!

I'm also particularly interested in hearing from anyone who visited from 1976-1999.

This sounds like a good idea, despite the parks massive reach and size, it rarely gets any fanfare. Perhaps I coul be of assistance?

Cree Bennet (my original character) visited in 1981 and to the California park in 1983. She was obsessed with Demon and Orleans Orbit, and in between marathoning those, she would ride the Hay Baler and American Eagle. American Eagle turned out to be better than Demon, as that's still her #2 coaster. She also met the Looney Tunes, got Looney Tunes stuffies, and played in all the arcades (Atari's Food Fight was one of the games they had.) At California, she rode The Edge, their Demon and their Orleans Orbit. She played alot of Pole Position in the arcades there.

Cree loved the Marriott years the most. She blames their parks for her love of anything Marriott, even the hotels. She still takes her old plushes to the hotels even if she's 54 now.
