It was fast during PART of the Christmas time, but than all of a sudden, it was going slow, and that Hometown Fun Machine, Big Easy Balloons, and the Bumper Cars would have much LONGER cycles. All of them are way too short. Seriously, the tea cups get a 3 minute ride, and these are like 40 second rides. Ridiculous. I wonder which of these rides will bite the dust first because of the HORRIBLE too short of a cycle, and no one will want to ride these. I barely rode any of them this year because of the too SHORT of a cycle on each.
With how bad Great America was running the Hometown Fun Machine (It was a slow ride cycle this year until it seems later in the season, and again way too short), one of the rides I couldn't wait to ride was the Scrambler at Six Flags St. Louis called Shazzam. It's been a terrible Hometown Fun Machine type of year this year!
At least for the Balloons, I got my fill at Saint Nicholas Village which was amazing compared to Great America's pathetic ride cycle Balloons.
I truly despise these short ride cycles. We barely ride flats anymore. Just not worth it. Rode RUE once all season.....horrible.
Something I would love to see at SFGAm would be a Gravity Group Family Wooden Coaster. It would be a step up from Whizzer, Dipper, and SSR (yes I know it's just Sprocket Rockets but I don't care), and a step down from Demon for kids who don't want to go upside down yet. These rides are fantastic. Just look at Oscar's Wacky Taxi or Kentucky Flyer, both are amazing rides. Something a little closer to home: Hades 360: is also an amazing ride. This new woodie would be a smaller version of that. It would be a great fit for our park and we might be able to get the record for most wooden coaster track back from Kings Island.
1.) Steel Vengeance 2.) Iron Gwazi 3.) The Voyage 4.) El Toro 5.) Velocicoaster Ragin Cajun and Iron Wolf went from Six Flags Great America to Six Flags America. I guess they weren't GREAT anymore.

I think the loop is so hideous lol the reg power splash looks nicer BUTTTTTT now that someone mentioned Tidal Wave, it makes it so much more appealing. What an amazing ode to the old ride that would be here...

I'm all for this too. Mostly because I never rode it... Horrible capacity but for the right price its another coaster that I'm sure they can market as breaking some outlandish record
Sucker for a launch, custom audio and Demon | Coaster Count: 623

It could probably go to Frontier City in OK. It's a super fun ride! I got several rides on it in August, 2018.
Single Day Ride Count Record
50 rides 8/17/2018 (Without Flash Pass - Coasters After Dark)

This is actually a really good idea. I was thinking the Great Escape as well.
Sorry for bringing up an old post but I have been thinking a lot about what a SFGAm would be like, what would you guys want in it? I think ERT of the coasters on the right side of the park (Maybe Raging Bull to Maxx Force) would be really cool and close enough to do. Maybe even host it near the end of the year to make new ride announcements that day like Over Georgia and Fiesta Texas do? Just a cool thought and I'm interested to hear what you guys would want!
Some time, on way to successful, first of steps of all of the steps to being successful steps are hardest of all of the steps to successing.
