Is there a program out to convert RCT1 save files?

Talk about RCT 2, RCT, No Limits, Hyper Rails, Scream Machines or any other Rollercoaster related game here.

There's some parks I made on RCT1 that I really liked and I want to be able to play them on RCT2. Is there a program that will convert the file like that?

There's a program in any language that can do that. It's called "Windows Explorer". Just copy the file, and then change the file extension to .TD6, and it works. I've done it.

That's for rides. I doubt it'd work on parks.

I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

You can open and resave the file, putting quotation marks around the file name. For example, to save a file as .TD6 if it doesn't do that automatically, save it as "filename.TD6" instead of filename.TD6 However, this doesn't work for renaming a file.

If none of this works, you could try a nifty little program called "Quick File Rename". It used to be freeware but now you have to pay for it. Luckily for you I still have the free personal version on my computer. If you really really need it, IM me.
