Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Hey guys. Since coaster construction is one of my fav things to do (thanks Planet Coaster :D), I've compiled a playlist from SFGAdv's Joker build. I know this isn't from SFGAM, but If you're ever bored, it's kinda fascinating to see these things come together. Can't wait til ours starts going vertical!

I wonder if we will have another webcam. If so, where though? I took snapshots almost every process of XFlight & Goliath.

I think Batman's lift would be a good candidate for a possible webcam. Pretty good view of the whole area, little obstruction, and a decent height.

Batman's lift hill? That's a far enough distance from construction for Batman to block most of the view. I'd say either the roof of Angelo's or V2's supports somehow

If they could position a webcam on V2s spike toward the construction area, I think that would be perfect! But the question is, will they put one up? ;)

I think the best place for a webcam would be somewhere on the upper portion of Loggers Run.

When they first opened Batman 4D at Fiesta Texas, they initially loosened the magnetic fins and spin dampers to allow the first guests to experience a faster spinning and more intense ride, as evidenced by POVs and initial comparisons to Intamin Zacspins. But when they first opened Joker at GAdv they had issues with doing the same adjustments with more of the work being done by S&S themselves, and this caused delays. I hope that when they open our Joker, they allow more flipping and faster spin rate like on Batman 4D first rides, rather than the less aggressive spin on GAdv Joker.

Oh prototypes :) hopefully ours is the more "aggressive" flipping as well. Cause I've heard great things about BTR at Fiesta but only good reviews on Joker. Tbh more people complain about anything at SFGAdv cause it's a much larger park (sounds similar doesn't it?) so the bad reviews are really just of it being short & not flipping much after the first dip.

JiggidyNDG posted a new update on joker. Nothing major although they moved the bridge back so all of it is on RC's former pad they also are starting to put down forms for the new path.

Batman: The Ride at SFFT has some pretty sweet theming. Does anyone know if The Joker at SFGAV has any sort of theming? I would love if our Joker got more theming than what's pictured in the CG images. I think it would contrast so well with our B:TR considering that's so well themed!
Favorite Coasters I've Ridden:
Steel: 1. Maverick 2. Steel Vengeance 3. X2 4. Storm Chaser 5. Twisted Colossus
Wood: 1. The Voyage 2. Renegade 3. Mystic Timbers 4. The Legend 5. The Beast
Great America: 1. Maxx Force 2. Goliath 3. Raging Bull 4. Batman: The Ride 5. X-Flight

BTR at Fiesta is themed?? I haven't noticed anything beside the car. & if that's what your expectations of theming is, then you're in luck cause Joker will most likely have the circus tent entrance with posters of villains & that's pretty much it. If it goes beyond what the renderings show & what we already see at SFGAdv, then color me surprised.

Eh. I don't know about everybody else but I prefer generic queues, not really a big fan of indoor theming. I like our Batman's queue more Xp

I watched a review video & see your pics you posted I'm impressed. I don't know how you can't appreciate those details though. I like it but I realllllyyy don't see how they would tie in kick ass theming like that for our Joker.

I wish they would have reused the old Two Face - the flip side for us. Then the station & que could have been two face's house/lair with two of everything but opposite of eachother. The trains could have been coins, one side heads, the other tails. CMON SIX FLAGS!! Lol

^ How about the Joker's face on every train? And the cars can have sound effects with his maniacal laugh as they flip over and over!

I actually really like TDK's theming! Plus it's a great family coaster. I do agree that Batman has great theming as well. In fact it's probably my fave line/queue theming of any coaster at the park.

Since I was here 2 weeks ago, ERC is reduced to just a concrete pad & the bridge has fresh concrete under it. Sooo nothing new from the last video update posted really.
