You're definitely right that it'll never happen, but I'm not quite sure it's for the reason you think. People can hate the park all they want but everybody has a price. If the park started offering people two or three times what their houses were worth, I bet they'd have takers. But I can't imagine they'd ever do that.

It's in Mardi Gras, between SF Outfitters, JWR, and the game stand.

Who else can see them leaving up the RC facade as a barrier between joker and Mardi Gras it doesn't seem to be in the way of anything. Maybe they'll build a stage in front of it for party grass

R.I.P Jack's Snack (Unless it's right next to the trees, kind of hard to tell)

I forgot how good Joker looked, but I'm still indifferent on the ride. I hope they actually use that neon green and not the shade on SFGADv's version

So the area they were flattening out prior to the bridge move all makes a lot more sense now. It may just be a bridge to many but you have to admit, this is pretty great. It's the little touches like this that really set us apart from the other six flags parks.

I know they just put it up, but does anyone think that there is a chance that the new bridge will have some Fright Fest theming like the other two? If so, serious props to Six Flags.

With the retention of the sign and the lack of additional DC promotion, it seems there will be no retheme of Yankee Harbor. That's a shame because I feel the area could become the most well themed section of the park and would give them an opening to remove the flume rides for future additions.

Why is it a shame The park is named six flags GREAT AMERICA for a reason the park is suppose to celebrate American history the last time I checked Gotham city is not a park of america. Plus it's not like if the flumes get removed six flags is gonna give us a 15 million dollar floorless coaster. The flumes are actually a relaxing fun ride and are an important part of our lineup (not to mention they are actually pretty tall.) I don't mean to be a jerk I just want to say what I think

I literally just realized Metropolis Plaza is the only non-American theme in the park... Guess my idea to change the area around Goliath to "Rome" isn't happening

Theme and thrill parks need to evolve and adapt to increase their attendance and popularity, so letting a section of the park lose luster and consistency with a non-existent theme just for "history and tradition" is pointless. Batman, V2, and Joker are all relatively unique coasters at the time of their introduction, and an innovative water coaster or decent sized water ride would double down on the improvements of that section. I'm pretty sure a B&M floorless coaster would be the most redundant addition considering X-Flight was just added in 2012.

I wouldn't mind it at all if they removed the flumes for a B&M floorless! Yankee Harbor would be Coaster Harbor! lol. Batman, Joker, V2 and a Flooless? That would be awesome!

I'm not all for the removal of our flumes unless a true water coaster was added. Not a "Pulsar" but more like a Mack or Intamin water coaster. One that will embody a flume with the added coaster elements. Anything from a Poseidon model to a Divertical model. The aqua man idea would be cool in a divertical style coaster. But I'm gonna still go with my gut connecting the two parks for both guests to enjoy. Has anyone seen Divertical? It's such an insane weird huge ride. Moving on-

The floorless has been a wanted/rumored attraction for over a decade. While they are fun, I'd much rather have the giga go in that area. & even if that happened I'd really hope they would keep one flume rather than taking out both. Calis Great America did that if I'm not mistaken.

It's not that close to the top of my list, but I wouldn't mind a floorless. I've actually thought in the past that Yankee Harbor would be perfect for one for some reason.

Eh... while I shouldn't judge too much cause I haven't been on all of them, I have been on half of their floorless coasters. Not counting dive coasters. & the only time I was ever blown away from a floorless coaster was because it dropped off a cliff. While Superman at Fiesta Texas is a good coaster, it was its use of the land that made it. I would say their best floorless is Dominator. Again, while they can be good, they're not fantastic. I personally think if we get another B&M it needs to be fantastic. I'm a B&M fanatic so don't think I'm hating on them at all. With that said, there are a lot of beemer haters out there. Which is exactly why I say it needs to be a stand out attraction. I think a dive coaster would be a great addition if you want to go the floorless route but we see what heat that causes amongst us.

Many people still don't agree that the Joker will be a great addition. But what makes this addition special to me is the fact that in all reality, nothing is being removed for it. Things are moving around but they're making it work, proving that you don't need to take something away to put something in. This is hoping that they do make Jesters work for 2017. So if we want to see a coaster coming to the harbor, could they do it going around what is already there & do they want to?

Fixed that for you

Rather than a floorless, I actually wish B&M (Or another company) would give the stand-up design another try.. They finally improved the design with Scorcher and that was it. I suspect if SFA got their Stand-Up in 2001, more might've been built.

Image

I came up with a new stand-up train design (Just a quick 5 minute drawing in Paint, not the best quality)

Instead of the huge OTSR's and Bicycle Seats, there are now:

-Belly Bars
-Leg Restraints

I'm not sure if this would work or not, but I'm guessing (Never been on a stand-up) that it'd be a more comfortable ride than with the current restraint system

I also don't know if a stand-up would be popular after the history Iron Wolf had, but maybe the GP would give it a try. I wouldn't mind the first Launched Stand-Up
