I also don't see how a floorless coaster is different than a traditional sit down one?? I rode Kraken in Sea World and it was good, but being floorless didn't add anything to it in my opinion

Technically a dive coaster is a floorless coaster.... My point being I would rather have a more intense ride than a slow drawn out cookie cutter one.[/quote]

Some are not floorless, like Oblivion at Alton Towers.

You sit higher up on a floorless train than a traditional sit down one. It gives you the same feeling of a stand up without the discomfort.

A Stand-Up Dive Coaster would be amazing (Though would probably hurt your legs)

Stand-Up Wing Dive Coaater with Georgia Scorcher trains. That way it will be smooth.

No no no, what we need is a 4 way coaster train with stand up seats above the track, inverted seats below and free spin pivoting winger seats on the side. Capacity is 144 people per train and requires a triple level station house.

And of course it dives. And is a giga.

Oh and at the midcourse brake run the invert seats tilt back into the flying position and the train hits a LIM launch out of the MBR.

No, testers drowned when Intamin made the first prototype live run.

But it will top Hades 360 for the most amount of underground tunnel!

Yes. At the mid course brake run the stand up trains lean back like a Vekoma Flying Dutchmen while the inverted trains pull up into B&M flying position. It hits a launch and the second half of the ride is a 15 inversion speed machine

Modified with a Few Changes

staticshadows wrote:Based on yesterday's announcements, I would like to see the following:
- Rocket Blast Water Coaster added above/around Viper
- Zamperla Giant Discovery called Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth replacing the Former Sky Trail
- Skyscreamer replacing King Chaos

I am still hoping we see a custom Premier or Mack Launch Coaster replacing V2.

Also Camp Cartoon turned into DC Superfriends Land and Go Karts removed and turned into Bugs Bunny Boomtown.

And Demon getting soft-vests like Blue Hawk
943 Coasters around the World! Countdown to 1000!

- Zamperla Giant Discovery called Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth replacing the bumper cars in front of Superman. (St Louis, Over Texas, and now Over Georgia have removed their bumper cars)
- Skyscreamer replacing Revolution

I am still hoping we see a custom Premier Launch Coaster from next to the Dark Knight to where the markings in the picnic grove were this year.

Zamperla Discovery Revolution preferred but Giant Discovery would be nice and more likely as no Sf's have the Revolution model

Zamperla Endeavor " Wonder Woman Lasso" or " Catwoan Whip"

UFO ride and call it " Round Up" in SW territory

Zamperla Hawk

Prefer the Windseeker swing ride over Skyscreamer, but same concept of high elevation swing based ride. For a swing ride what height would you want.? They go up to 400 on some Skyscreamers. Most SF the 200 -240 ft model, OT got 400ft.

If I remember correctly, the FAA already tried to do this with Over Georgia.

Very good idea to protect the park's height limit (to be "grandfathered in") ! Take Sky Trek down and put the Sky Screamer in same spot!

The only parks with the 400 ft model are OT and NE, a bunch have ones around 240ft range, La Ronde and DK have the 150 ft models. With Am getting the 240 ft model in 2017, it leaves just MM, Escape and us without them. You're right, the 310ft would be nice to keep the height limit and the possibilities for big coasters or other altitude rides.

I've long wanted them to go for a 300ft SkyScreamer (there was a year when it could have been the world's biggest, but that ship has sailed). The one thing about it is we don't know if Gurnee would be cool with it. Yes, it's technically allowed, but in 40 years they haven't tried to go anywhere near that high so they might not want to approve it. That's not a reason not to do it, you don't know until you try, but maybe it's making them hesitate?
