Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

If some of you haven't seen Batman yet, I posted a couple pics of the lift hill's track painted yellow. It appears the supports will remain black.
The pics aren't that clear because I was a distance away and used optical and digital zoom to get a closer shot. But you can clearly see the yellow.

I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Yes, it is now much easier to spot Batman from a distance.

I think it looks sharp. The yellow paint reminds me of the yellow on that $500 CoasterDynamix model.

Thanks Chitown! Though those are far away, I think that they look great!
Just a curious question? What is the problem with painting the supports black? I saw the pics on "Great Adventure Source" and I think Great Adventure's paint job looks good!
Just my .02 .

the colors are starting to grow on me, but we have yet to see Batman all yellow sitting next to V2. that'll be the real test in my opinion.

They won't accent yellow with anything very light, that would look so terrible even park officials wouldnt do it.

I hate it, two yellow coasters right by eachother plus they took the theming away. in my opinion they killed batman!!!
you can't believe it - you didn't mean it
but they saw you do it and they know your name

You don't know that they took the theming away for good now
They probably put it in storage so the paint wouldn't drip on it.

It is still the same ride, they didn't kill anything. If you think they killed it that is great for me because it will be one less person waiting in line!

Its only a paint job. So you are going to ditch a ride just because of no theming(worst case scenario) and a paint job? The ride and fun didnt change, it is still the same old Batman.

not necessarilly. as it stands, any of the theming removed would effect the line, not the ride. but what if they took the piece of street above the queue away? or the wall around the brakes that the train grazes before the last cork? that does effect the ride.
besides, this is all based on opening day pics from GAdv. there are no pics of GAm in that area now let alone in the middle of the season after the park has had time to get everything in order.
