Could V.R come to sfgam

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Sounds like it was a capacity nightmare at SFOG yesterday with the VR, and they eventually stopped using it. I saw one person who was there estimating the line at 6 hours at one point! Said train dispatches were 6 minutes. I realize it was on a Eurofighter with low capacity to begin with, and it was the first day of the season, but I don't know if it will work at our park, as it is just so busy.

Ouch. After listening for awhile I'm glad it's not at SFGAm, but I would still like to give it a try.

It could work similarly to how the backwards trains worked; a few parks get it for half of a season, then a few more the other half, and it repeats for 2-ish more seasons.

But the thing is these aren't backwards trains. They aren't that unique so it's unnecessary to rotate goggles around the chain.

It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle :?
Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? :P

I know, but just for the sake of saving time and money. These obviously didn't do well capacity wise, so keeping them for longer than a season would be terrible.

Yeah, But It was opening weekend with 1/2 staff. I'll give it until May to fully decide.

I'm placing my bets on Demon getting the VR upgrade and it will most likely be The New Revolution .

^The New Revolution is the name of the alien VR. It's what's on most of the SF VR coasters currently.

I heard a few rumors from staffers that your bet would pay off next year. It seems like SF is targeting longer rides so not any of the compact coasters, rides that are lower on the park's ridership numbers and rides with inversions.

So for us, that's only the Demon.
