Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Does anyone know why Demon is able to have such a low height requirement? Was that an Arrow thing or a Six Flags thing? Any info would be appreciated!

I think it's an Arrow thing, or it might just be Illinois not updating laws. :b

I think Santa Clara may still run original trains, doubt it but could be related to the new trains. I know development of the human body is taken into account too, which is why Demon and Shockwave had 100% identical trains but a 42 vs 54" height requirement. Perhaps someone somewhere along the line at PGA decided that Demon exerted to much force for someone in the 42-48" height range while SFGAm never worried about it and stuck with the manufacturer minimum.

though you never know, I know Eagle went from 36"-48" in one off season just so they could stop hearing complaints at Viper of "my kid can ride that but not this?"

Reminds me of Alvey's report for Goliath back in 2014.

It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle :?
Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? :P

The 48" requirement is a CF policy. All of their arrows have a 48" height requirement. One of the last ones was Iron Dragon and that was changed either last year or the year before from 42".
