I honestly don't get this. If there's any kid's area that needs a retheme, it's Kidzopolis. Bugs Bunny Boom Town would fit better in County Fair anyway.
How would a western themed kids area work better in a carnival themed area? Plus if they retheme Camp Cartoon they can dump the Hanna Barbara fee

Hanna Barbera is owned by Time Warner, so I would assume (although I could be wrong) that it's just covered under whatever licences that Six Flags has with the rest of their Warner Bros stuff.
Only way to change the restraints on Demon is to get new trains, I doubt park would would be willing to spend that kind of money on a ride nearing the end of it's lifespan.
However options include new trains from Vekoma with the soft vests which are pretty nice, assuming clearance on the ride allow it, or Schafer/SAT trains, as seen on the Boomerang at Wiener Prater, while those don't look very comfortable, they are really really nice trains, just rode it a few months ago.

Well, Magic Mountain is spending that kind of money on Revolution, right? I get that Revolution has a bit more history behind it, but it doesn't seem totally outlandish that Six Flags would spend some money to revitalize an old coaster (especially since I'm sure it costs a lot less than an actual new ride and it's something they can market in a down year).
Yes but one is a unique, well built, coaster with a great layout that's still popular with guests and has a marketable history. One is a rather crappy Arrow Corkscrew that's exactly the opposite of everything listed for Revolution and is already on at least it's second set of trains.

We are still talking about the GP here, we could add a few special effects, redo the lights in the tunnel, and new trains. Call it Demon 2.0 or The New Demon or The Demon's Revenge, etc.

Right, we're talking about the GP, some of which won't ride Apocalypse at SFMM because they think that it's Pysclone. Most people aren't going to notice the new name or new trains and think that it's still the same Demon. Plus, I'm sure Revolution doesn't have the structural issues that Demon has.
For a long time, Arrow track has so many welds on it that make up the track ties, it's a lot of work to repair constantly, the rock work can barely support itself now, and I know the structure holding up the high turn/first drop has been replaced/repaired at least once. Arrow axles are also problematic.
There are not a whole lot of Arrow Corkscrews left for a reason, and that's all besides the point that they're generally growing increasingly unpopular with the GP.

So now that SFGADv has changed the theme of their free fly to Joker I'm starting to believe (guessing) if we get a 4D free fly in 2017 or 18 it will be DC themed. Also did anyone notice the coaster in the background of the Total Mayhem/The Joker promo picture that isn't at SFGAdv.
I think the ideal thing would be an Intamin/Mack Blitz or a GCII airtime woodie as far as coasters go in the coming years. If not these, maybe something even bigger. Great America needs a crowd eater and Goliath just isn't that. It is way too hard to find small lines because operations can be slow and it is busy all of the time.
Favorite Coasters I've Ridden: Steel:1.Maverick2.Steel Vengeance3.X24.StormChaser5.TwistedColossus Wood:1.The Voyage2.Renegade3.MysticTimbers4.TheLegend5.The Beast Great America:1.Maxx Force2.Goliath3.Raging Bull4.Batman: The Ride5.X-Flight
I would like to see a MACK Launch that is extremely intense like Maverick, which is my favorite roller coaster out there. A ~75 mph launch and launched lift would be sweet and perfect for SFGAm.
I want to see this for several reasons: 1. MACK is dirt cheap. 2. SFGAm really doesn't have an extremely intense coaster. Goliath is close, but it's short and is not as intense as it could have been. Still a good coaster. 3. We have only one 4700-foot + coaster, which is a hyper that is neutered by trims. A long coaster that's intense would be perfect. 4. We don't have a full circuit launch. 5. MACK will benefit from a Maverick-like coaster in America. I also really like MACK's launch trains. Do a 3 car train and it'd be perfect.
- Demon with new soft padded Vekoma Trains - Proslide water coaster like Wildebeest at Holiday World - Camp Cartoon into Bugs Bunny Boomtown with a few new kid/family rides

Cloned or not, regardless of course length or ride duration- this is the picture in the dictionary next to intense coaster.
Yeah, next to Goliath, Batman is super intense. But I do understand what calebk is saying, a coaster that has everything- airtime, inversions, length, speed, consistency, everyhting.
I'm going to go back to my list from November, and say how each can work(if they can), plus a few new ideas.
-Premier/Mack Full Circuit Launch: There really isn't much room for this unless we remove something. The Flumes and or Superman/TDK can open up decent sized areas that can fit this in.
-Airtime Machine(either Intamin/Mack Blitz or a Chance Hyper-GTX): This is a bit more of a fantasy than a realistic addition, but if it were to happen, the Go Karts and Bucanneer Battle could be a perfect place for this.
-S&S Screamin' Swing: Not 100% sure on the dimensions, but I think Ragin Cajun's spot could fit this in, with the swings going over the path/bridge and RR area.
-S&S 4D FreeSpin: There are quite a few places this can go. I think Staticshadows posted an image of this fitting into BB's spot. Another idea that MIGHT work is putting in the area between Trailblazer and Ricochet, and scrap the Coldstone and arcade, but leave the facades. Again, not 100% sure on dimensions, but it could work out thematic-wise. A bit more queue will have to be added, but it can always go into the space between the probable entrance and the Dippin Dots.
-Multi Looper(7+ Inversions): When I say this, I mean a B&M Sitdown/floorless. I really liked that Bizarro idea Staticshadows posted a while back to replace Superman. If that doesn't work, the Pictorium might make for a nice coaster(terrain based?)
-Giga: I mean, it probably won't happen, but if it did, I posted that map of open spaces a month or so ago, and said that combining the space of Superman, TDK, Roarin Rapids, the flumes, and the water, a giga could fit.
-Water Coaster(ala Wildebeest at HW, Deluge at KK, Crush n' Gusher at Disney TL, etc): There isn't much space, but I think if you remove that sandy area between the raft slides and Skull Island, you can add a station there and have the slide go over/around the paths. If not, Pictorium isn't too far away.
-Zero-G Wall slide(ala Hyena Falls at HW): If it's just the wall and nothing else, it could fit into the path between the water park and Pictorium. Yes, it'd mean Pictorium needs a new entrance or be removed, but it means more expansion!
-Eagle Revamp: Kinda obvious, new paint(which they already are doing), new trains(Timberlines, Millennium Flyers, heck even new PTCs could work), a retrack(GCI or GG, RMC if they don't give it the Goliath topper track), and reprofiling(Change those damn hills so they actually give some decent airtime!)
-Demon 'Revamp': Give it new trains(KumbaK or Vekoma), new paint(it's chipping to the point of it showing it's original manufactured metal), new LED lights in the tunnels, new effects(fog, cued sounds, lights, etc), and updated rockwork.
-Air Race: This could fit in the old Skytrail spot no problem.
-Sky Screamer: This probably can fit in Skytrail's spot. If not, it might work in RC's spot.
-Camp Cartoon retheme as Bugs Bunny Boomtown: Camp Cartoon is getting outdated. No kid today knows who the Flinstones or the Jetsons are, barely anybody rides those things, and some of the rides are just bad(fully caged ferris wheel? Why?). Some rides can stay, like SSR and the boat ride, but others might need to leave. Expansion into Wilderness Theater is plausible, adding in a few more flats and that play structure everyone but us has. Kidzopolis really can't work, as it just got rethemed, and is already semi-tacky from the old Wiggles theming(the planes, the bone on the kiddie tower, the cars...). Adding Bugs Bunny onto it could make it even worse. Nobody in the BB crew has a giant pirate ship or drives an airplane.
-Total revamp of the food system: Not too sure if I should keep this, as they already are getting better. The Pizza slices are smaller, the new food like Strutters and Fish and Chips are really good, and the Dining Pass is more flexible than ever. If Six Flags keeps this up, we might be the most culinarily superior Six Flags park. Also, the ice cream at Demon Snacks is amazing.
-GCI/GG retrack on Viper: Pretty self-explanitory. Make the ride smoother without butchering the airtime and speed. Some slight reprofiling to lower stress and maintenance is ok, but noting too major.
-A bit of an odd one, but a Maurer Spinner: I've always found interest in these. They can be themed nicely(Winjas, Laff Trak), can make some nice maneuvers, and can refill a hole RC left us with, a spinning coaster. I was thinking that a spinner in the Pictorium could be cool. Better yet, replace TDK. Not sure if it can be done by Maurer, but if they can make it inverting, it can be marketed to crap. A nice theme can compliment this.
-Total refresh of the park: Even though we are one of the better themed Six Flags parks, we still are nowhere near other parks. If the park just took one season off to refresh the entire park, new paint on everything that needs it, new plants, adjusting themes to fit the area better, terraforming in a few places to make it seem more natural, fill in empty spaces, new street/park lamps, just anything to make ourselves look as good as we can be. Also, fix all the effects. But I'd honestly keep V2's holding brake off. It gives the ride a unique characteristic with the amount of floater it gives.
-Outward-faced Frisbee: We all can agree that an outward facing Frisbee is 1000x better than Revolution. If we remove that, send it somewhere like SFA, we can get ourselves a Zamperla Giant Discovery or a HUSS Giant Frisbee. If it doesn't fit, Skytrail and Ragin' Cajun are always open.
-Gravity Group woodie: A fantasy of mine. I don't care if it's Wooden Warrior or Voyage, I just love these rides. It can fit in Superman's spot if done correctly.
-Slingshot: I know Six Flags doesn't really do these, but if they did, it would work as a nice upcharge attraction. RC or Skytrail could work here.
Sorry for double post, but I forgot something I wanted: a nice, quality indoor theatrical show.
I mean, the Pecking Acrobats are nice, Mach 4 is amazing, and the dance party thing has some nice interaction, but I think if the park has a nice storytelling show in the Grand Music Hall like LAFF, people would respect our entertainment program a bit more.
It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? (Sorry in advance for unnecessary commas and parenthesis every where)
