Haven't posted in a while but i've been working on something new.
Back in high school I took four years of Computer Aided Drafting(CAD) and the other day I had a thought, I love seeing the blueprints the park has for sale, but wanted to see if I could create my own based solely on google images my own memory. I took of a screenshot of a work in progress, Goliath. Let me know what you guys think! Constructive criticism if you could..
That looks really good so far. My only criticism is that the dive loop is a little too circular, so making it a bit more of a clothoid loop would look better.
I agree that the Dive Loop is a little large and too perfectly circular. (If that makes sense) Other than that and supports, all you need is the logo and it will be sold in gift shops for $30 a pop.
It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? (Sorry in advance for unnecessary commas and parenthesis every where)
Looks really good! The dive loop is looking so much better now. My only issue now is that the lift supports look a tad too short-ish. Drop the lift supports down a tiny bit(if that makes sense). Otherwise, great work!
Started working on a rough drawing of the train. Still have a lot to do but just wanted to give you guys an update! Guy With a Stick, what do you mean about the lift supports??
I mean, the lift supports look a bit thin. So thickening them might make it look more realistic. I see the lift supports as a long 'box', if that makes sense. I know you can't see the depth of the drawing, but I see the depth and height of the supports as the same. Look at lift pictures, you'll see what I mean.
