On the website the express wristband is 39.99, the regular one is 29.99 and then there is the season pass wristband which is 30 for the whole ff season. I'm not sure if that is discounted at the park. The park called me and told me you can get those wristbands at the park as well.

The park released the Map/Guide online, with a good shot of Nox:

https://www.sixflags.com/sites/default/files/sfgam_ff_guide_2015.pdf

So Gates of Hell will be the entirety of Picnic Grove, apparently. And it appears for Apocalypse, you either purchase an M-24, or you just run through the thing:

Which seems to be Wicked Woods from last year...

Alright so Ive decided to upload the pics from the preview night to imgur. You can view the album here.

http://imgur.com/a/IOyt5

Definitely something to check out was in the pond in front off the columbia carousel, my profile pic is not there anymore but he was moved to six saints cemetery, which is now where the old sky trail was by demon.instead, in front of columbia carousel there is a light/fire/music show in which the lights and fire are programmed to the music. It was pretty cool to watch and definitely something to go check out.

I'm excited for tomorrow. The weather will be nice and I'm excited to see my friends that work during FF. Got my wristband for the houses...looking forward to Gates of Hell and MMC and all the others.

They really seem to be playing up that this year is way scarier than the past. It'll be interesting to see if it's true - my children have always been ok being there at night (just in the park, not in the haunted houses), but if it's as scary as they're saying might need to rethink that.

Please don't take kids that can't handle being tormented ruthlessly. I really hate small kids at Fright Fest. Parents need to think.

I think that if you know your children can handle it, go ahead! But this year, I think you should go before you go with them just to make sure it's safe.

Apocolypse zombie experience (no guns) was the same as last year. Nothing new except 1 new surprise effect that I enjoyed. Will be alot scarier at night. Will re do and review once i do it at night. Currently in line for manslaughter manor, I'll review it when I'm done

Did fear and abyss

I still love abyss, it was my favorite last year and so far still is this year (however I haven't yet done gates of hell so that could change) 8/10

Fear sucked. 4/10

How? I thought it was terrible. It doesn't even compare to Mausoleum of Terror in my mind.

I really liked the maze aspect, and as the year goes on and they hire more actors it will definitely improve. Plus I got split up with my group during the second half and had to do it solo which was awesome.

Ok people this is a rant/rave/review grab your souvenir refill glass and your popcorn bucket were gonna be here a while. Be advised this contains spoilers read at own risk, Will not be held accountable for ruining anyones Fright Fest you've been warned.

Park entry: speedy quite efficient fastest I have ever gone through.
Got to the opening of Rue Le Dodge and managed to hut TDK minimal waiting on both- cool. Did Condor with new cycle would be better at night because they turn off the lights and slow it down at the top. The shops had some decent sales on things while you should be prepared for sticker shock at the pricess of even a simple long sleeve tee 49.99 they also had a sweatshirt jacket for 61.99. Whizzer had a long line (7 switchbacks) that hardly moved they only had 2 trains running. DEMON also had 2 trains running. Firehouse Pizza was closed the entire day which during Fright Fest severely limits your indoor dining options which is I guess what they are hoping so you pony up for JB'S. Shows are again crammed together and hard to see most im one trip. There is a 10:30 showing of LAFF it is supposed to be 18+, it was a little bawdy but nothing worse than 1 what they already know and 2 what they possibly hear on Family Guy, South Park (censored version), or some of Archer. Another note on the shows is that the supposed season pass enterance is apparently only for the first show of the day WTF?! The Boo Line was a joke, going to the FF website you think the train is going to be decorated and there will be actors FAT FRIGGIN CHANCE!! There was nothing no people no decorations not even fog in the tunnel, then why did they even bother to post anything on the site?

Food service was abysmal the lines just to refill with Coke freestyle were nuts. Then later in the night they locked the doors at Trudys forcing you ro go through the entire store when all you wanted was a simple fast refill. If they were so worried about people stealing they should have someone standing or sitting by the doors and get rid of the fortune machine and strength tester. They could also get rid of the Dasani cooler and put in another freestyle to chop lines. I waited in line at Demon Funnel Cakes and Snacks for 30+ minutes for a loaded nacho. The nachos here were awesome!! But the service was chaotic, disorganized and slow. One girl would make a funnel cake then stop take off her gloves then get a drink then put on more gloves and chop pico de gallo then make another funnel cake. She wasn'r the only one working in this fashion a blue shirt was too they were making funnel cakes and yhe entire 30+ minutes I was waiting only 2 people ordered them, but they were making them like they were going out of style, most of the people in the line wanted drink refills so why the cake rush was beyond me. Then Mr. Blue Shirt decides to leave, the line was 20 people deep where the hell was he gong he have a hot date?! Johnny Rockets County Fair was no better. They had one girl making shakes and getting drinks while Alex claimed he couldn't help her fill drinks when he was just standing there. Also first popcorn purchase the popcorn was on the stale side. And at the end of the night when I wanted a final popcorn refill (keeps for a week in the popcorn tub) and a bag of cotton candy (easiest to eat at home) the popcorn and cotton candy booths closed at least 15 minutes prior to the park. So deciding on a no ice cream/topping funnel cake I went to Hometown Funnel Cake (heres the kicker) they were backed up so all those people making cakes at DEMON Funnel Cakes could have been helping here and expediting service and relieveing the pressure. And once again saw Blue Shirt from before, line bunch of people deep him quietly leaving and not helping back there. People left because they didn't want to wait.

The houses oh boy the houses 3 opened at 5 3 opened at 5:30 again attractions crammed together. Fear boring 1/5, Abyss 2/5 just because the vortex tunnel from Mausoleum of Terror had found a new home. Be advised the flow of traffic into HH has you go in a giant circle past the bath house around first aid and out through rhe front which is basically pointless you will also find aliens here weird when its supposed to be pirates and mermaids. Massacre Medical Center pretty good very dark some good elements 3/5. Missed Manslaughter Manor due to time and a halacious line. Apocalypse what they don't tell you (and for good reason) is that you can experience this house 2 ways 1 standard Wicked Woods walk through but there is also option 2. For 14.99 you can get a laser tag style gun (to rent) and go through and "fight for your life" if you want to do it again its not free its another 9.99 for a second round so on top of the 29.99 base price they are trying to get another 25.00 out of you. It's more of a hit if you get the express haunt at 39.99 plus another 25.00. Which brings me to the Gates of Hell. They had the entire picnic grove decked out in haunted paraphernalia (Necropolis). But they used the Mausoleum of Terror facade just covered up the name. It was basically the same thing it was expanded and bigger but the fact was an expanded Mausoleum. So the general thing is that The Gates of Hell is Nox's home (new character please see youtube videos for more info) hearing that you expect to see him at some point in the house right? WRONG! We were asked by a FF attendant how it was my reaction was meh while my dad wanted to know where Nox was, all we were told was Nox wasn't here this evening again another lie as we later found him in the Hometown gazebo. 3/5 just for the expansion of the Mausoleum of Terror. Save your money on the houses buy a Flash Pass instead.

Ride operations were pretty good I actually managed to get on 16 things and at Fright Fest none the less is almost unheard of. Terror Twister did not disappoint though it seemed like other cycles had longer songs than ours, I swear one cycle lasted 7-10 minutes actual ride time not including loading. This year though it seemed like there were less decorations on the ride platforms Viper has nothing. Didn't see any other show besides Lightmosfear the lights in the trees and fog and fire were fun, but the music was awful just screaming and lights. I enjoyed the lighting but there were so many other songs they could come up with and use it isnt funny. Also on the screaming note bring ear plugs on Rue Le Dodge more screaming nonsense music to be had here. Also there is an afternoon parade BUT nothing at night. They had something called The Witching Hour I quote: "It's your last chance...actually it's the monsters last chance terrorize you! You can't escape the gauntlet of all of Nox's creatures of the night as they converge on the front of rhe park for one last scare." Carousel Plaza, Hometown Square, Orleans Place. This seems like a parade right? NOPE! I actually don't know what it was supposed to be actually because I sneezed and missed it. Nox was in the gazebo taking pictures there were clowns a few freaks, wolves and that was it no show no parade. But when I asked someone if there was a parade she said she didn't know and that there may be a parade later in the FF season. They claimed this Fright Fest was on Scareoids in my opinion it wasn't even on a baby aspirin.

I was at the park yesterday with five other friends and overall had a great day. We did all 6 haunted houses which we enjoyed for the most part. The only problem was there were guests swearing and shouting at the employees dressed up in the haunted houses.

They were swearing at the characters because they are idiots that think they have to be attention whores.

.^ Yeah that sounds about right. Of corse they were teenagers. I should also add that someone actually told an employee at one of the exits (Gates of Hell) about the guests and he said he was going to inform park management about the issue.

I went Saturday and had a pretty good time, but the actors in the houses were awful. Perhaps it was just because this was opening weekend, but they were all timid and barely interacted with guests. Most walked up to you with a creepy smile, whispered a quick line, then walked away. There were probably only 15 characters in each house. It was the same for street actors. Few and far between with very little interaction. Six Flags could learn a lot from some of the haunts around Chicago (Dungeon of Doom, Statesville, Realm of Terror, etcetera). Love at First Fright was funny and entertaining as always. At Susan Rosen both the people I was with volunteered, and neither was actually in a trance, but was just acting the whole time. In past years, I've talked to other volunteers and most said they were just acting. I'm thoroughly convinced everyone just plays along. In general, it was a good time.
