If it were happening, they would have already closed it. Every time they've done a rehab like that, the ride mysteriously closed around now, and then a few weeks later they announced the new ride. And, coincidentally, just the other day they closed Roar at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom...I wonder what that could be about?

(Also, feels like they wouldn't need a lot of wood for a RMC conversion, since they mostly consist of taking off wood and replacing it with steel, right?)

^This. Plus RMC is already fully booked for this year. They have their coasters in Europe, Dollywood, Kentucky Kingdom, and SF Discovery Kingdom. A while back RMC posted positions for surveyors in TN, Lousiville, and Valejo. No Chicago mentioned in their posting.

I could see them doing some major track work, but I do not see AE getting an Iron Horse treatment. I also don't think that AE is a very good candidate for Iron Horse. AE is a very spread out layout without a lot of wood to work with besides the first drop and the helix. Everything else is pretty low to the ground. I'm guessing that was a significant deciding factor in building Goliath over an Iron Horse of AE.

What if they are finally repainting it and the new wood Is just to replace the rotted out wood. The reason why it's been closed so often might just be because they are evaluating it to see how much wood they would need.

Another Wonder Woman cape. Maybe they're just opening a giant new Cape stand?

This is my first post :o ... But I am going to take a giant wild guess, which obviously will not be right. A B&M inverted wooden coaster... Just kidding

But in all honesty though the ride I can think of is: Batman & Robin: The Chiller, but that obviously is not going to happen.

Does anyone here know how frequently they will release teaser videos until the official announcement?

I'm expecting the new video around 4-ish today. Just figured they'd continue their pattern with every week.

According to the SFGAm Rumors Facebook, there was some kind of business meeting going on at JB's. Jim Reid Anderson and Hank Salemi were there:

Boy, I am still seeing a lot of 3-loop formations in these teasers. What is it in purple spraypaint on the wall? That is what I would love to figure out.

It's so hard to tell at this point lol... I did notice the Ha Ha spray painted on the wall so a Joker ride is still a possibility.
Also,
"The smallest details may hold the answers!
You may think you know...but we're not so sure you do. Tweet us what you think #SFGAM2016."

That still makes me think it might not be the JL dark ride everyone is expecting but who knows..
Favorite Coasters I've Ridden:
Steel: 1. Maverick 2. Steel Vengeance 3. X2 4. Storm Chaser 5. Twisted Colossus
Wood: 1. The Voyage 2. Renegade 3. Mystic Timbers 4. The Legend 5. The Beast
Great America: 1. Maxx Force 2. Goliath 3. Raging Bull 4. Batman: The Ride 5. X-Flight

Coaster Count: 118

I also see at least two more separate clothoid loops in the purple spraypaint. These clues sure are screaming some inverting (coaster?) ride to me more than the dark ride. I have yet to see any real clue it is the dark ride beyond possibly being themed to Justice League.

I'm back at a DC related roller coaster. I feel like the dark ride would make sense and be a good addition, but it's also the obvious DC addition and the descriptions of the videos make me think it's not that (and as was pointed out, there's the obvious three-loop motif, now even clearer...)

That's the one thing I am still scared of, but didn't I read somewhere that SF has cancelled the Larson loops for parks for 2016? Not sure how credible that is. I also think it's a horrible ride for our park. We can do better! There is also space for something bigger there.

I wonder what the significance of the two bolts painted yellow and the design that is painted below them?

I'm trying to look past the obvious at this point...

People again I say Justice League: Battle For Metropolis. All capes shown so far are pointing to Justice League. Also....hmm guess what there's a virtual loop in the ride which of course they will market. Joker is the main villan so I'm sticking with that. And their "you may think you know" line is targeted at the general public obviously who accounts for most of their guests who know nothing about rumors and such.

I was staring at that too. I am just thinking outside the box, but the thing on the left, when turned upside down, looks like a tophat element to me! lol

We could get an interesting coaster if Dare Devil Dive moved to the old Sky Trail spot. It seems like a waste to put Justice League in this location when we have better locations for it in the park.

I'm pretty sure that a lot of the GP knows about Battle For Metropolis - Six Flags does those big chain wide "what's new" videos (which I've seen played in the parks too), and St. Louis isn't that far. And if they know that Six Flags put in a Justice League ride last year, and they're hinting at Justice League stuff, it's an obvious leap to make.
