Whenever I think of the Space Shuttle, I just get upset they didn't end up getting Chang. Yah it wasn't a great fit, especially since we had Iron Wolf at the time, but I just love coasters i seldom use the water park, I honestly couldn't care less about the water park. I'm a dry park guy, and I certainly don't see any space we could put a coaster without closing a coaster.
Well, there is the fact that (in my opinion) Simulator rides, especially Simulator rides on a Six Flags budget, kinda suck. I don't think anybody would consider Space Shuttle America a success, and I know at least a few other Six Flags Simulator rides of that era are now gone. Not sure if they've done any more recent ones?[/quote] HOLD IT!! Now granted SSA's stargate ride stunk, and the original was mediocre, and I didn't see the dino one or any others but SUPERSTITION totally Kicked @$$! That is the one thing I truly muss about SSA. and can someome tell me why the "lazy" river is no longer an adventure river? back in '05 they had a wave channel a little after Bahama Mama and Bubba Tubba why did they turn this feature of the river off?
same reason they never fix V2's holding break. why it is so hard to crank half of the cranks on Buccaneer Battle. why there are so many less logs/boats on the flume rides compared to years ago why you see gaps in roaring rapids station also cause of less rafts why it takes 5 minutes between 90 second rides on most the flats why rue le dodge you have to be careful which car your in on head on hits cause of under inflated bumpers/not enough padding at knee height. why Goliath is constantly breaking down. why they have had to redo hometown square twice in just a few years at the cost of way too much $ that could have been better spent on hell paving stones rather than asphalt. why you can't ever seem to get a HOT pretzel (let alone most the rest the food too) why on opening day there were parts of the park you could tell had not been cleaned since at least sometime last season including inside eating areas. why the water elements are also never working on X-Flight anymore.
because six flags doesn't know how to run a theme park. err amusement park as theme left long ago.

Yah, and I'm pretty sure I have it on the highest frequency!! I remember them asking me when I signed up and I think the option was "Send me all you got!" Which I thought I applied..
I think it also has to do with which areas you wanted to Help out With. They might be sending out 'Park Satisfaction' surveys more frequently than "New Ride Research".

Some of this has nothing to do with Six Flags not knowing how to run a park. They somehow made it out of bankruptcy so they must be doing something right.
Anywho, V2s holding break was never fixed BECAUSE it also did damage to the structure of the ride. Thus, they decided not to fix it since it would add additional cost.
THey can no longer run that many boats/rafts on the flumes and Roaring Rapids, much the same reason as to why Eagle doesn't have 3 trains and Whizzer not having all five.
Goliath is goliath. Xflight had much of the same maintenance issues.
igNite was only suppose to be a one year a show in the first place and the projectors cost a lot more than the company expected.
So,that has nothing to due with a poorly run company.

I don't think the waterpark will be expanded. Someone talked about the waterpark being stale after a while. Solution: Remove underperforming slides and replace with new ones. Much like the main park will be. The waterpark is as big as they want it to be and I don't see any further expansion. Could they remove something to make way for something else, sure? But the park is landlocked, stuff will have to start coming down for new things to come in.
Also, I believe they are waiting on a part of Condor, much like when Orbit was down all season not too long ago.
As far as the food being cold or taking a long time to process causing long lines, it's poor inexperienced management coupled with employees not caring or being lazy and poor training along with improper food handling and improper inventory control. In other words, the food employees could give a rats azz if you get served or not.

Candy: What you lookin' at? Otis B. Driftwood: I'm lookin' at you, mama. Candy: Yeah, you see something you like? Otis B. Driftwood: Maybe. I set my standards pretty low, so I'm never disappointed.
5 false statements rolled into one neat little package.
1 the SF that took the chain into bankruptcy no longer exists, only reason they got out was with the chrrent team being installed by the banks.
2. V2's holding brake never broke, it is perfectly functional and causes no damage to the structure, especially after the extra support was added.
3. I guess this may be halfway true, though it just doesn't make sense to run 3 on Eagle and 5 on Whizzer after new safety equipment was added, there'd be no benefit. Though If they fixed those dozen or so empty boats sitting in and around the parking lot, Roaring Rapids could run at full capacity again as designed.
4. I don't remember Goliath having catastrophic mechanical/structural failures, never blew out wheels left and right, never had issues with going down several times an hour on most days, as was closed only 2-3 entire days from when it opened til now.
5. Ignite was to be a permanant fixture as Deja Vu pointed out.

Well it did have the lift hill issue and was closed for over a week not too long ago. Maybe closer to two weeks but I'm not sure, it happened while I was on vacation. But besides that, I think Goliath runs fine. It doesn't have the reliability as B&M's have, but it's not like Goliath is down more times than not. Pretty sure I've seen TDK have more down time than Goliath this season, but that's just me. Personally I have a mindset that Goliath runs just as well as all the other coasters at SFGAm, although that's not the case to many others.
Whizzer has seatbelts, so they need to check the restraints. Back in the day, people just sat down, and they went. So they run only 2-3 trains to avoid stacking.
What I'm afraid of is SFGAM will add a Larson Loop and call it their 15th coaster.. They need to understand those are flat rides, at least in my book! Hopefully due to the problems the Larson Loops have been having this year they will add a Skyscreamer or Justice League Dark Ride instead

It's not that they don't understand, but they probably make more money advertising it as a coaster, than a flat ride.
Anyways, I see Justice League being highly marketable. We have yet to have a shoot-em up ride. However, I have been hearing that the current ones are having their troubles.
It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? (Sorry in advance for unnecessary commas and parenthesis every where)
I've never seen anyone get denied from a Wacky Worm, they're quite a bit roomier than any B&M or Intamin
If it's in a park, about half the time I'll hop on the Dragon Wagon more often if it's one of the huge layouts like Beech Bend or the one at Safariland, they're all one n done though.
