Typical Intamin goodness.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

As I posted in another thread, Viper got stuck on the lift hill. Goliath ran both coasters today, the most intense experience I've had next to raging bull

^ Raging Bull was down in the morning. It opened a little after 1:00. As for V2, it's an Intamin. I'm sure it will go down again

When I was in Scandinavia only 3 coasters were closed the whole trip, worlds smallest coaster at Tusenfryd which I would have skipped anyways, Dog Fart Switchback at BonBonland which was the only true loss, then Demon at Tivoli Gardens, the only B&M of the whole trip.

They ran a few test runs around 3:00 today. Whatever the issue was, it was not resolved, as both trains were put back on the storage tracks and the ride never opened. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

Nothing yet, I'm not heading back to the park until Sunday, so I'm waiting to hear from others.

EDIT: Goliath has reopened

When I went to SFGAdv in 2011, Nitro was closed. No company is perfect.

Yankee Clipper and Scenic Railroad open for the season today.

EDIT: Railroad was scheduled to be open 12:00-8:00 today. It closed around 3:00 for unknown reasons.

It's always been open. Just ask the person who gives the tickets. Even if they say they gave out the last one, don't give up hope. I went the other day, and they said that. I went and rode V2 and Batman, came back, and they gave me a Single Rider lanyard. The same thing for the other rides. The sign just clarifies the line is open. It's usually always open. Batman, however, is a trial-and-error type ride. Some employees say it's not open, others let you through.

I was on the train today. It broke down and was stuck in between the hometown square station and the southwest territory overpass for about 10 minutes and then we got moving again. We got off and we looked a little later in the day and it was closed.

The two times I've asked this year they have said it's closed.

That happened yesterday as well. It sounds like it got stuck around the same spot to.

Mind-blowingly pathetic!

I doubt it has anything to do with the wet track either, wet or not you'd hear the wheels spinning on the track, also being it's opening weekend the track is likely still a little rusty which provides even more traction than normal, the locomotive is just in that bad of a shape.

Also note just how awesome the car looks on the first operating day of the season, they can't even break out a 99 cent rattle can of gray to at least make it look minimally presentable.

I agree that the wet track explanation doesn't add up. It operates all the time in the rain. Since maintenance backed it up and made it up the hill, my guess is operator error. From looking at the video, the operator likely pulled back on the throttle too much and too early.
