Yes, you can buy the vouchers online too. We already bought our four!

i searched for the vouchers to get the cups, I couldn't find them. Where exactly are they? Are they online only or do you think the park will have them too? I would so buy the cup if the refills were free....I've been buying the cup each year and paying .99 for refills. I wasn't spend 5 bucks to get the wristband for free refills for the day...but if the park was selling those cups and get free refills for the whole season..I would so do that.

That link will have it, but you can only purchase via regular pc, it won't work on mobile for some reason. If you don't want to follow that link, go to the sfgam official site, click on online meal deals and click " buy now" under sports bottles, the green bottle will show up there.

Remember, use the pc only.

You're welcome

The green sports bottle for $19.99 is the best deal with free refills all season long. You would be a fool to buy the red one.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Can you buy the green one at the park, or does it have to be ordered online?

^ Normally I agree that the park waits too long to start anything, but it really doesn't take long to build kiddie rides. Once the concrete is ready they can probably have them all up and running in 2-3 days.

Same with the paint job, AE hasn't gotten one because it's expensive and would be a really big project to paint the whole thing, and it'd be a big investment with no return.

Not saying RMC Eagle isn't going to happen, but we need actual convincing evidence before saying it is.

Good point

I wouldn't rule the RMC idea out. Eagle has long needed a new paint job and I think the reason it hasn't gotten one yet is because we are getting an RMC redo of the coaster. I've heard numerous rumors about it as well.

I'll ask the same question as before....How does lack of paint = RMC? Superman hasn't been painted, does that mean it's being relocated? No.

I'm not exactly sure why... It just feels logical to me. American Eagle is a classic and is going to have to be repainted at some point whether or not its converted into an Iron horse. I absolutely understand it would be somewhat expensive.. But I sort of just have this hunch that it would have been done for 40 seasons. And yeah I get it could possibly cost $200-300K to repaint the whole thing (Gallon of paint costs around $25 or more for high end paint, AE used 9,000 gallons), but I just get this strange feeling that it would be #1 on Great America's list of things to do.

If it cost 200K to repaint Eagle it'd get done at least twice a decade and for cosmetic reasons. As long as the wood is protected, they're not going to touch it for a while.

And as for rides, all new rides at all SF parks in the US aim to open new rides on Memorial Day, regardless how big or small they are, been that way for some time now and is nor surprising.

In the amusement park industry, 200K is nothing. I mean, yeah, it's money, but it is quite cheap when it comes to other things.

Then how much does it cost? From what I calculated that seems like a somewhat reasonable price... Would cost more around 500K?

Does 40 Seasons Celebration "start" on a specific day? I was there for advocate day and from what I saw they either have way too much to do this week or the celebration won't be ready for opening day. Is it supposed to start later in the season..?

The new rides open May 29th. I guess you could count that as the start.

But then again, the opening day tickets cost $19.76, so... idk.
