They had better watch it people will get fed up with the BS. They'll make the drive to CP and even SFSTL and Silver Dollar City. I can't believe its taking an hour just to get into the park. This is precisely why I buy my tickets ahead of time and I always have my bag open for search.

I'm not so sure bad operations really affects anything too much - Local people aren't going to start driving 5 or 6 hours for a day at a park, and many of the tourists who are only there for a day or two probably get Flash Pass and thus don't suffer as much. It would take something a lot worse than some long lines to really make people stop coming.

As for the long time getting into the park, I think a lot of it is the stupid new fingerprint scanner (and buying tickets ahead of time or having your bag open doesn't help, I've been in long lines with my pass and no bag). I've seen a few times lately when they weren't using it and things worked much better.

I've thought about the time issue with the finger prints. Two of the last three times I've been there, they didn't use the finger print scanners. When they don't, they just scan my pass and I'm in. Total time at the actual gate (not metal detectors), 3-5 seconds. When they use the finger print scanners, it takes about 10-15 seconds for it to verify my finger print. When there's a long line with around 20-50 people in front of you, this takes way longer than needed. Just another example of how just because it's more technologically advanced, it doesn't make it faster. It may be easier for employee at the gate, but the time for the customer needs to be considered here too.

When they weren't using the scanner, it wasn't extremely crowded at the gate those times either, so it's not like they took it away because it was taking too long. It may have been that there were so few people going into the park at that time, that it wouldn't be a huge issue.

Believe it or not I am also on TPR , but all I do is download RCT2 Parks from TPR. I don't take part in the forum part of TPR.

As I said, pure speculation, but there are many stories of this guy throwing hissy fits and shitting on a park and it's employees if he doesn't get something he wants (be it ERT, interactive queue/front of line passes, etc.).

I speculated that his ass-hattery may actually have stemmed from something other than the height debacle on Viper. I was browsing through a trip report on their site today and unearthed this little gem:

Back in 2010, Six Flags Great America lived up to the third word in its name. The park welcomed TPR with open arms, plenty of ERT, and some nice backstage tours. Everybody had a great time.

What a difference four years makes. No tours. No ERT.

Robb was 10 to 1 denied on ride videos and took it out on SFGAM.

It actually makes me very happy to see that people are starting to finally discover Robbs true form.

7-8 years ago, everyone thought I was being a jerk.

Let the site die

You tend not to cater someone who belittles you, don't you? I work in retail, if you start yelling and making a scene, I'll refuse to serve you. Why? Because I can.

Nothing new to add here, just that Robb has long been a massive tool and this doesn't surprise me at all. I watch POV videos on Youtube occasionally, and I'll take the handheld view of Coasterforce rather than hearing Alvey shouting every three seconds on his.

If you want to post on his forum, you must now give him your phone number, real name, city/state, and a link to Facebook/Linked in. This way he can validate who you to see if you are someone he doesn't like, before you make your first post.

If you're on TPR, you can't have an opinion. You can get banned for liking Helix over Balder.

I just want to verify that this has actually happened.

They reverted back to the old system over the weekend -- probably once EL DiBlobbo figured out the info he was asking for is illegal from a minor (16 is still underage).
