Read to Succeed Date

Does anyone know the last day to use read to succeed tickets? I'm planning a trip for end of August and want to wait until after the read to succeed promo. Thanks!

I think it's August 9th, but I'm not sure.

Here's some advice: Try to not go on the last day. I have a membership, but last year I didn't know the last day was the day I went and it took about an hour to get over the highway and the lines were horrible all day

Thanks! We actually don't have read to succeed tickets. We're looking to avoid the time range altogether. At this point the plan is the last weeks of August, so we should be safe.

Hopefully you check the operations calendar because the park ends weekday operations around the end of August.

"Read to succeed" tickets expire August 3rd this year. Just looked at the one my son used yesterday.

They're doing the same thing they did in 2012 and 2013 where half the tickets expire August 3rd, and the other half expire August 10th. I guess the idea is to try and make it less crowded, but in reality it's just as crowded, only difference is now it's jam packed for 2 and a half weeks instead of 1 and a half weeks.

Great good to know details. I'm between the following dates:
Friday, August 22nd - Pros: Weekday, Cons: Bring a Friend Free Days, No HH to soak up crowds
Saturday, August 23rd - Pros: No Promos, HH Open, Con: Weekend

I'm thinking it'll be close to the same each day. Thoughts?

I wouldn't go a bring a friend for free day unless you're actually bringing a friend. I think the 23rd would be a better choice.

Ha, I went a bring a friend free day (brought 2 free people), and it was awful. If they have the money, make 'em pay, you might actually get more park for your dollar!

I'm confused is this the last read to succeed day (I will not go if it is) or was it yesterday (9th)
