Goliath Does Seem A Bit Extreme To Start Off With Since I Can Barely Handle A 80ft Drop.-.

Forget 80 ft, add another 100. Then you'll get the upside down factor taken care of, along with heights and steepness. You'll be good to go, blowing away the rest of the competition.

It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle :?
Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? :P

Well maybe you should start out slow rather than starting with something extreme. Maybe a slower inverting coaster rather than Goliath? Surprisingly, my first one was SUF. That's not really starting slow, but if you just want to get over your fear, go for it. I'd probably recommend X-Flight, it's not the fastest coaster ever, but it's got 5 inversions. Good Luck! :)

Goliath would certainly wipe out all of those fears you have rather quickly, but it's better to ease your way into this stuff.

Demon isn't a bad choice, it's one of the tamest coasters in the park despite the inversions. But it's a physically painful ride. Your head can bang around a lot and, if you're tall enough, your shoulders take a beating. I'd give Batman a shot. It still packs a punch after this long and will be over so quick your mind may have to play catch up. Loops, speed, and you're done. It was my first looper ever. X-Flight is a good one, too. A bit slower, but does some weirder things.

Loops you can get over pretty quickly. Heights are tricky. You either work your way up the ladder or you jump right to the top to conquer it. But let's face it, you're not afraid of heights. You're afraid of falling from them. So do what I did...tackle that head on and do Giant Drop. The purest, most primal ride in the park. And, again, it's over in a flash. Coasters like Raging Bull, Goliath and V2 can help with heights, but if you're that uncomfortable you have an entire ride to sit through that will be nothing but hell. With Giant Drop you go up, you go down and you're done.

And who knows, maybe you ride Giant Drop and your fear of heights stays. But, if you're like a lot of people, Giant Drop turns that fear into a huge adrenaline rush and turns you loose to the other rides in the park.

Definitely go for the Demon as your next step if you've already ridden Viper.

Prepare your self mentally by graduating to each different thing. Start your day with Columbia Carousel upper level, then Sky trek tower; its high but theres nothing to it. Now a little more intense Condor. Now for coasters: Whizzer its not terribly high but packs tight turns that will help prepare you for other coasters. The Yanlee Clipper and Logger's Run are also good for height preparation. Graduate to Viper, back track and hit DEMON, If DEMON was good hit X Flight (I have never been on it but it looks graceful and not as intense as BATMAN). After X Flight get another dose of Heights in on AE. Then another looper S:UF (it looks tamer than BATMAN). Now its time for the most intense looper in the park BATMAN. If heights are still an Issue hit Goliath followed by GD and Bull before you know it You'll be at Cedar Point riding Top Thrill Dragster.

My friend had the same problem. After he rode Goliath, all of his fears were gone. I'd assume the same would go for you. But if you want to go slower and work your way up, I'd say Demon, Batman, X Flight. That'll get over inversions. Eagle, Superman, Goliath, then Bull. That should get you to get over your fears. Happy coasting!

I'd say Demon as well as your next transition coaster. After that, I would probably say S:UF. The only really intense part is the pretzel loop, but realistically, you're on your back. So it's like you're doing a saumersault. That or Batman.

Dare devil dive

Face it head on. Literally

I tricked my friend onto it. Afraid of everything. Even the whizzer. He loved it and went straight to RB and GD. It's weird how it works

I'd say that's plenty slow, and would recommend it as a starter ride. After that, you should be able to handle a day's worth of Great America Scenic Railway rides while reading an unabridged version War and Peace with ease, and perhaps even Columbia Carousel- which the interweb tells me is the World's Tallest Carousel- http://www.freewebs.com/columbiacarousel/ .

Dare Devil Dive isn't worth the cost. Ride a skycoaster at another park when it's $5 or something. KI skycoaster is so much better.

DDD is worth doing once, especially because it's more convenient than doing the real thing somewhere else. Granted, I did it for free (ride tester) but having done it, I would have happily paid as well.

Of those remaining coasters, I actually think SUF and V2 are the least intense.

With V2, the initial launch is the most intense part of the ride. After that, it's like being on a more intense version of the river rocker. Just back and forth, back and forth (I know someone will laugh at that comparison, but think about it, without the holding brake on the back tower, there's nothing else there).

SUF should feel intense because you hang below the coaster. It's just you, the restraints, and then the ground. But your body is covered head to toe in restraints, and you feel so closed-in that at no point did I feel vulnerable or imagine I was flying. For the majority of people, they're nervous to ride it (I was), the ride starts and they're thinking OMG OMG, and once the ride is over they can't believe how boring it was.

For me, AE, Goliath, and RB are the more intense coasters in that list.

Yeah the only intense part of V2 is the launch. It's really just loud and fast, but doesn't do anything you're not expecting. I mean I like the ride, but like it was said before, it's just your back and forth after the launch.
