But next time was never to be, because it was snatched out of the park so fast, it made my head spin! but after reading how everyone loved it and what it meant to you all, now I'm pissed! Thanks for rubbing salt in my wounds, guys!

I managed to ride it once in my life. Every single other visit it was closed. Now I can't be sure, but I think it shut down soon after we got off. If not, it was closed right before we got in line. I'd say it was a fun experience. Quite disorienting, which made it unique for the park.

Also, I second all the comments about its dominating presence. I always imagine it to be "smaller" but when I look at the numbers I remember that this thing was quite tall and very imposing in the open space it occupied.

Wow. Yea, I didn't go the first year it opened. But I went the next 5 years straight. I thought it was either rotten luck or just not meant to be. Thank God for youtube because I didn't even get a chance to see it cycle. There was a sign at the entrance of the park saying it would be closed for the day, but I do agree it was a gorgeous sight to see with that neon green permeating the skyline like a boss!

I never got a chance to go on it. I did however get the chance to visit SFNE this summer. I was really exited about the relocated DV from SFMM. :D It opened and the train was loaded just before it closed for "unexpected reasons". :x It did reopen later, However the first ride of the day was at 2:30. I can totally understand why the park got rid of it. However I do think that virtually any coaster would be better than BB that never has a line. :?

It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle :?
Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? :P

BB was a failure. The park wasted money on that.

Well lets face it, it is just a bland ride i mean when a log ride packs a bigger thrill there is something wrong. The guns are to hard to crank and I always get sore shoulders after riding (which is basically because the boats are still new because I am the only rider. One side of the boat gets wet the other relatively dry. the targets are too far away and require at least 3 people hitting it for anything to happen. They should have had it where the boats rise and spin like on a wave in the ocean. this way the other side would get wet. and a giant octopus that saturates the entire boat, I mean the bucet was just a dumb idea. Its possible that this would have really taken off if it was done in the dark, and had some type of animatronics and waterfalls and maybe even a surprise dip and a couple banked turns really give it that pirate ship feeling. It just feels like you are cruising around a pond it is more relaxing than thrilling.

Remember this is SF, we're talking about, not Disney

Granted I was only able to ride Deja Vu twice, for some reason I found it to be probably my favorite coaster in the park. And with the current lineup of what is open, Deja would still probably be my #1 at SFGAm

I was lucky enough to be able to ride it in 2001. I was in the park with my parents at the time and I saw it testing from Viper. I pretty much ran away from my parents to go to see what it was doing. I just rode Millennium Force the season before and I can still remember how I thought all of these new coasters were so extreme. Some employee was at the line now forming sign and people wee asking him what it was like. He was like "it's crazy man, it's like Giant Drop and Batman combined". I don't remember how long I waited but it was almost dark by the time we got on. The ride always got my nervous right before dispatching...one of the few rides to ever consistently do it.

I rode it in 2009 at Silverwood. I actually kind of like it out there a little more. The views from the ride are great as the park is surrounded by mountains.

The concept of the ride was great. Two, 200ft(ish) tall freefalls, with intense inversions. I loved the sound that the motors would make as the train got to the top of the towers, followed by the release of the brakes.

I must have been the only one lucky enough to get om this ride as much as I did. When they opened it I was there and I rode it everytime I visited the park which was usually once every 2 weeks the entire time it was standing. This was by far my favorite ride at the park and it's sad they gave it up. Especially since it seemed like the last year they had it, it was running alot better. I also was lucky enough to get stuck on it when it valleyd when the catch car didn't grab it on the 2nd tower. They simply attached a wench and pulled it up far enough for the catch car to pull it up the tower and away we went through the 2nd half of the ride. :-)

I rode it 4 times. My wife and I took the kids to ride it and the boys got up to it and of course it broke down right as they were next in line. Highly disappointed. We got in line with my step daughter who was 10 at the time and somehow got separated from her in line. I thought, oh no she is going to be scared lol. She ended up riding by herself and loved it lol. The boys were so mad.

Candy: What you lookin' at?
Otis B. Driftwood: I'm lookin' at you, mama.
Candy: Yeah, you see something you like?
Otis B. Driftwood: Maybe. I set my standards pretty low, so I'm never disappointed.

I feel lucky that I got on it over 10 times compared to most of you who either never rode it or got on it only 5 or less times.
