Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Right... So it would've been better had GA kept Shockwave and never put in Superman??? Wait a second... We're not going down this road that's been traveled many times, I take that back! lol

Yes I know what you mean, I probably shouldn't have said that... but it is just like the paper companies when they tear a tree out. It is okay as long as they replace it! Yeah we wouldn't want to talk about Shockwave, another thread got very hostile!

I dont think the front office or maintenence could stand it
. Notice how the park jumped right at the opportunity
. I liked it, I rode it 114 times in 2002, but from a business sense theres no reason to keep it, and I respect the descision, theres no reason to be a dick about it like some of you are being.

When they originally wanted to take out the Wizzer,,, would their be enough space in that area for Superman??

Yes, there would have.
Supposedly, HFM was also slated for dismantling. Whizzer and it's station would be the location of the ride itself. HFM was where the station would have been located.

Well they would have to clear alot of the trees since Superman has a much different layout than the wizzer

Exactly, it doesnt make much of a difference where they put superman, you would still be flying on top of cleared land.
