Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

^Last time I believe SUF had two trains ready for opening day was in 2007.

^^^From what I heard, the catwalk is no more. Otherwise, the igNight set will be used. Not entirely sure though...

^The catwalk is gone. I remember seeing a picture of it from when the park had the Goliath tour a couple weeks ago.

I'm disappointed to hear that X-Flight is only running one train. Hopefully it's not another big maintenance issue like last year with the black train. I am happy however to hear that all other coasters are two train operation!

igNight now has large chunks taken down from the set, pretty much the entire top half is off. I don't know if plans changed, but full removal is looking more and more likely.

In the case of full removal, that wouldn't surprise me either. Figure that the nighttime parade/show begins mid-June, and with Goliath construction, train's closed anyway. Would be great to see them convert the area back to former glory.

I spy Spacely's Sprocket Rockets running on the webcam. Looks like quite a bit of people from this private event are over at Camp Cartoon this afternoon.

I would've expected a lot of rides to be closed! Only 4 rides isn't that bad. And with 2 trains on every coaster, it will sure to be a great season opener! Only 1 more week! See you there!

Yankee Clipper (and probably others) is closed today due to weather. Yankee Clipper, Rapids, and Battle are scheduled to open weather permitting and have already had crew training and test cycles. Logger's Run will be closed.

I figured it was a bit chilly (around 55-60 degrees here in Rockford) but I have seen water rides run in colder temps before. I was a little confused when you mentioned just Logger's Run and not Yankee because I thought Yankee Clipper is the ride the Goliath webcam is attached to and there's no water in the trough. Thanks for sharing, DejaVu! Looking forward to next week.

Yeah, I've caught Clipper boats on the webcam the last couple weekends testing. Today, they had water in at 7:00am, but never opened, and it was drained again by 11:00.

Okay, I thought I saw water going around 9:20 this morning but it was hard to tell on my phone. I checked again on my desktop a couple hours later and it was completely dry. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. ;) Thanks for clearing that up.

Logger's Run, Revolution, and Railroad are closed.

Thanks, I think I will be hitting up X-Flight first thing in it's two years being open. But seriously, thanks for the updates. :P I plan my day around capacity and helps a ton. :)

Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? :P

Clipper wasn't down for weather. It was open until about 10:45. It is probably done for this weekend unless they can find a new belt for first lift tonight.

It was running this morning when I passed through east. Trust me, they don't finish all training in that one weekend. That is probably why it was running. More training.

Yankee Clipper is fixed now and really down for weather. They had water in it at 1:00 and ran a few boats through. Now it is drained again.

Odd, most of the time, Logger is the flume that is open most of the season! I guess Six Flags wanted to change things up a bit.

I will also be hitting X-Flight first thing this Saturday. Perhaps I will see you in the area of X-Flight?
Not sure what I will be wearing that day, but I will have a Live TR going on that day via Facebook status updates. 6 days and counting down! :D
