There is a fire at Six Flags Great America in a building near the Grand Music Hall that is being described as an electrical building. At this time the fire is mostly extinguished, but the building effected is a total loss. Crews are also checking Grand Music Hall for exposure.
Not going to effect Goliath in anyway. If anything is effected, it will be show related, as the Entertainment Department's office is right behind Music Hall, and there is also a costume/make-up building next to Music Hall.
Ok besides the building, was anything ruined that is useful to the summer? Costumes, makeup stands, anything like that? I read soda machines and picnic tables were involved but that's about it.

Nobody knows anything except what was in that article. Honestly, though, I wouldn't worry about it - they have a month before the season starts and I'm sure they'll take care of it. They're not going to let something like this affect the season for guests.

Ok, first I thought that this was a delayed April Fool's joke, but now that I see the screenshots, it doesn't look that bad at all. It's just a small building that can easily be re-built in no time at all. Also, the damage to GHM can be repaired within a few weeks too. Just don't pull workers off from the Goliath area who are working on the station, the queue, the entrance sign, and the new gift shop.
