Now that Ragin' Cajun is gone, we have some space in the Mardi Gras area. So it's best to start speculating on what will go there. I want to hear your ideas! Remember, A 300 FOOT INTAMIN MEGALITE won't fit in the spot of a Zamperla wild-mouse. I'm placing my bets on a Zamperla Disk'o like Pipe Scream at Cedar Point. Something small, yet thrilling. Let's just hope it's not "Picnic Table: The Ride" or "The Pile of Stones and Old Pipes Experience".
I would guess Sky Screamer or family flat ride or two. What I'm more concerned about is what replaces it this year. Obviously there won't be a ride, but I don't want another ugly half-removed ride like IW or SWF.
^ I meant more the area around it, like the facade and queue line. I know it could be reused later on like with Iron Wolfs station and Queue, but I just think it looks bad when that's all just sitting there out in the open. Just putting up some construction walls would look better in my opinion, plus they can put signs and posters on them.

It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? (Sorry in advance for unnecessary commas and parenthesis every where)
I don't know if this is true or not, but I heard that they'll be dismantling the station, removing the queue, and using that space for seating areas in 2014
I assume it's not happening (because we would have heard about it if it was), but they should have at least temporarily stuck the Buzzy Beez there (and maybe another old Looney Tunes National Park ride if they're still hanging around). Better than an empty space or a stage that nobody cares about...

Well, the only thing I could think of that would need seating is if they expanded the Mardi Gras festival. But like I said, I didn't know if it was true.
However, I can see them temporairly using the space for the Mardi Gras festival in June. Otherwise, we may see a permanent thing in that spot for 2015 or 2016.
Weren't we already discussing this in another topic?
I've gone into this before. I don't want a skyscreamer there. Matter in fact, Its not about wants but I don't think we should get a Skyscreamer unless its over 300ft (USE THAT HEIGHT RESTRICTION!) & the bulkier models look more appealing than the standard 150-250ft ones. Putting it in RC's spot will kill the theme of the area cause lets be honest - They would be foolish not to paint it red, white & blue & naming it "The Great American SkyScreamer" at a park named Great America! So find a nother location for this ride *cough cough* Galvin already made a report on this & where it could go ;D
About the station facade, I really hope that's still there cause its beautiful. Yes, I know its a facade but its a great one. I hope they find use it for another attraction. I went into this prior as well but, I believe they should replace the family coaster with drum roll please A FAMILY COASTER! the park built up seven damn years of family installations & they tore out one of the major ones.
Though oddly If SFMM did it, I would see no shock in us getting a "Green Lantern" there... ok i'll be like WTF but at the same time It wouldnt surprise me they chose a low capacity Intamin lol.
Let me know if you agree, but I'd love seeing one of the following coasters in that area: -Maverick type coaster -El Loco/ Steel Hawg type coaster -Family launch coaster
And this may seem weird to say, but I'd also like to view a ride like Pandemonium as a possibility
As other people have said before, I agree that a skyscreamer wouldn't look good in Mardi Gras plus we already have Whirligig. Something that could go in RC's spot is something like Firechaser Express at Dollywood.
yes there are several threads like this. there are several rc spot specific threads and several future ideas type threads that include ideas in rc's spot.

You'd think, but it should be noted that the lot in question was already occupied by a rat coaster when it was decided that another one (albeit in a box) should be built right next door to it. In that case, box or no box, spinning or not, they're the same thing. I don't think I've met anyone that would ride one and then wait for the other. The difference with Jester and a Disk'O, is that Jester is purely for the kidlets.
I'm sure the very same was said before SFStL got theirs. Given Six Flags' recent trends and occasional cases of redundant installations, I still see it happening there or at Condor. Not a matter of if, but when and where...
